Wouldn't that be nice I'd love to know what they're talking about?? They seem very engaged and I wonder just how much of their conversation we didn't see??

The more I think about how much of their time the darn producers cut out, the more I get irritated but I have decided to patiently wait till Epsiode 6 and Episode 7 to hopefully see them in action together.

This is a great pic  I like how animated and excited they both look. Elise especially looks like she is lighting up around Matty. I can already see her falling hard 

@mercieme I'm not sure if you've watched Episode 4? I have re-watched the RC many times and I decided to post my thoughts on the CP and RC.

At the beginning of the CP Matty is seen walking back to the group of women arm in arm with Tara. They had a chat which we didn't see. Then came the drama with Cobie the producers decided was more entertaining for the viewers.
At the RC several notable things occured. Tara was called first and Matty had a grin and glint in his eye calling her name. So this can only mean they had a productive talk at the CP.
Elise quickly glanced to the side of Matty at someone when there were 3 girls left (Belinda, Liz and her), but she didn't change her composure. She didn't look in the slightest bit alarmed or relieved when Matty called her name last. Matty again had a glint in his eye and an attractive, cheeky grin when asking Elise to accept the rose. Elise stood there and Matty initiated the hug, and it was a meaningful hug IMO.
So I now have two questions, why is Tara also being hidden and why does Tara get a SD so late? It makes me wonder if the wakeboarding could in fact be Tara?? But it can't be because of the Camel SD and the seaplane SD
Where Elise fits into the story is only a guess??

I noticed the same about Elise not looking concerned, @Storybook. Much stuff going on behind the scenes we haven't seen, IMO.

I thought I had read someone picked this up. Sorry my memory is shocking at the moment (I blame a head cold). And I am really surprised about Tara. We didn't see her CP chat and she gets the first rose??

Interesting observation but Elise hasn't acknowledged Matty in any of her Insta posts - not even jokingly...

At the moment they seem to be focussing most on the drama and girls who are going to leave soon, which is pretty standard, but very strange not to at least see the initial spark between Matty and Elise.  I agree their exchange at the last RC hinted at a level of warmth/attraction that we have not been shown and the same could be said of Tara.  

I can only guess Elise will be one of the "big surprises" TPTB have promised.  IMO though the longer they leave it the more chance people may almost see Elise as an intruder on the Matty/Laura relationship and she may not be seen as a "legitimate" F2, which would be a shame since IMO the connection is already there but just not visible.

@Storybook....I am yet to watch Episode 4 but that's an interesting pick up that Elise wasn't worried.

The only thing I know is that the producers manipulate the rose ceremony for maximum effect. I watched episode 3 and the part where Elise said she does not fall easily is something IMO a producer would use to rattle her by getting her name called last a few times though you are saying she didn't seem rattled by it. Elise's VO when she was called 3rd to the last in that 3rd episode RC was that "I am not ready to go home, I feel like there is something there and hopefully he sees that too". This VO was done after the fact IMO as we were not shown her actually saying this. So basically after episode 3 we are being sold the story line that Elise sees there is something between them but yet we are not shown the interaction that has led Elise to this conclusion. This IMO just points to the fact the interaction they have had so far has been left on the production cutting floor for the sake of the slow burn / dark horse edit.

@brownravens.....the fact that she has not acknowledged Matty is one of the clues that she could be F1 IMO. Matty said his F1 has to be pretend to be sad about the outcome in interviews. I have read here on the forum folks speculating that Elise is not posting much about the show because she is upset or not happy about the outcome, I guess if she is F1, the strategy not to post about Matty is working

Interesting because:

A. People IMO may assume she's F1 and moving to be with Matty.

B. If she WAS F1 and moving to be with Matty, there's no way IMO she'd be allowed to give it away like that - so the fact that it exists suggests to me she's not and perhaps even that it's a deliberate red herring; and

C. That makes me think TPTB are perhaps classing her home state as SA which would go some way to explaining the IMO unjustifiably slim Sportsbet odds for a SA contender winning.

More and more things making me think she may go to F2.
