Honestly, I would be shocked if David doesn't make it to Top 6. Yes, I think Nick is a better dancer but I have a feeling he has a lot of fans and people voting hardcore and the judges seem to love him, based on his scores.

I heard his dance was shown tonight at Cubs stadium before the game started, along with his number to vote for him. Pretty big plug and that's not mentioning ESPN stumping for him as well. There is a reason the athletes tend to do so well on this show.

So they scored Nick the lowest again this week? I cheat and only vote. I watch the dance when it shows up online.

I will add that I'm not sure the judge's score sway a single vote if you have a favorite. If it's true, that the votes do count, Nick will be there another week or two, IMO. No way Bonner or Ericka have the fan base Nick does.

I agree.  The judges do what they do - that part is outside of Nick and Peta's control.  He puts in the hard work and has learned technique and several dance styles in addition to all you've said.
Win, IMO too, whatever happens.

@Maddy The shirtlessness suited this week's dance however it's too Bach hokey IMO to be a weekly thing. He's more than that.

Could Nick and Peta be getting so many votes that they are afraid they might outlast some of the ringers? Peta has a huge fan base as well and the consistent voters are people that watch every season. The fact that she likes Nick AND Vanessa means non-bach fans will like them.

I don't usually watch this show. Do they show the phone number as soon as their routine is done or do they do a recap and show all phone numbers at the end and then open the lines to vote? I was just wondering if they tell you specifically when you can begin?

^^ Phone #'s to vote are open from the beginning of the show until an hour after. So 8pm-11pm.

Don't forget that you can vote via Facebook also! I got 40 votes in (home phone, cell, Facebook and ABC) and then got my sister to do the same. Bonner and David weren't really bad, but they were over scored. I think Nick and Peta did AWESOME and deserved AT LEAST 8's or 9's!!! I think they should have gotten between 34 and 36! Judges are so obvious about not wanting him to go forward. They all talked about how good he was and then gave him 7's and 8's. Now I remember why I don't usually watch DWTS anymore, I am done watching as soon as Nick is gone!!!!

Regardless of all of the obvious bias on the part of the judges, Nick seems to really be enjoying himself. HE IS JUST RADIATING HAPPINESS!!!
