Haven't had a chance to watch yet but SM is being pretty decent to quite positive towards Nick so I am glad about that. I see alot of pleasantly surprised and impressed tweets. I am getting a head start on voting but weird/funny thing happened on my 10th vote/redial for Nick and Peta....instead of deep voice guy thanking me for vote i hear some girl giggling

Yeah, he was wearing his bracelet. Noticed it on tv when he was giving the rose to Bruno. Vanessa was also wearing hers.

I know! Usually he has a watch on so it's a little bit harder to see but with nothing but that bracelet on... it made me smile! Glad he decided to keep it on.

Oh my goodness!! I didn't know what to expect but Nick was sooo good! He has natural talent for sure and a dancer's body! I was so proud of him and Vanessa looked so proud of her man!!!

I think i heard Vanessa screaming I loved it, right before JH started talking. Did anyone else notice? I swear it sounded like Vanessa's voice.
Also, he did so good! I think once he relaxes little more he's going to be awesome!!

Nick was very good!! I thought better than a couple of other pairs that got the same score I agree with @Rolly that the judges were a bit extra hard on him! He was so so funny on the Intro, but super serious and focused during the constructive criticism He is so competitive and has a great work ethic so I am a true believer that he will go far!
It was nice seeing beautiful Vanessa & friends cheering for them!!
I am in awe of Nick's body! He looked so handsome in those black pants!! I thought his feet were on point, but some of the judges did not think so?? Hmmm I am a Latin dancer, and his cha cha steps were very good! The hype on the football player guy was too much. IMO Nick's dance had more cha cha in it. Can't wait for next week!!

I think the judges were hard on him because they were expecting a lot from him as it is pretty obvious he can move. He did well, but he can do better if he just relaxed. He was almost stiff because he was way too much in his head, IMO. So although I didn't think that the scores were fair compared to some, I also think that that the judges knew Nick came in with fans so he can withstand the criticism and lower scores at week 1. I believe it's okay since it's better to climb up than to step down. Love seeing Vanessa and Nick's friends in the audience, I wonder when his family will start coming out to support?

I will be shocked if Nick doesn't make it at least a few weeks. He will beat Charo, Mr. T and the comedian to name a fewJMO. There have been surprises in the past though. Fan votes count!!!
