Survivor is back -- and the stakes are higher than ever.
The reality competition series is celebrating its 40th season with an all-winners season -- but that doesn't mean it'll be one big party. Legends like Boston Rob, Sandra, Parvati, Tyson and more old school favorites are back for another shot at the title of Sole Survivor, but they'll have to fight for it against new school winners like Adam Klein, Sophie Clarke and Wendell Holland Jr. Sandra told ET fans can expect Winners at War to be a "bloodbath."
"The one thing you don't wanna do in your 40th season is just sit back and celebrate. You have to continue to plow ahead," host Jeff Probst told ET. Survivor has done that this season with a $2 million prize, and the introduction of money into the game.

It was a very good first episode. Natalie and then Amber were voted out, except not really as they went to EI. I am excited for the rest of the season if they can keep this up.
Yul really impressed me. I thought since he had played so long ago and doesn't really keep up with all the Survivor charities and get togethers he would be a little lost, but he was the one that orchestrated Amber's ouster...even though Sandra made it seem it was her.
I listened to the podcast RS did with Dalton Ross of Entertainment Weekly who is the authority on Survivor and he said Yul was probably the smartest person out there. That he is very observant and strategic. He was always one of my favourites.
@Kashathediva I hope you are watching.

I absolutely loved the episode last night. When watching stuff I will normally be on my ipad playing a game but not last night. I was thoroughly caught up in what was happening.
I love Yul and was so glad to see he was back. I did see something where he said that even though he hasn't really participated in the Survivor events, he still watched the show. He also said he knew he would have to change the way he played.
Sandra totally hasn't changed. I'm sorry but she is so overrated. I've never been a fan of the "Queen" and I hope she gets knocked down and out soon. Last night she let her emotions get to her. Who does she think she is that Rob would tell her that he was going to be on Season 40? He had every right to keep it from her. He knew she would bombard him with questions about Amber as well.
And, Boston Rob... got to love when he confronts someone about throwing his name out as the person to go. He knows he has a huge target on his back because of Amber so I think he is playing all out because it will be harder to get to the end since everyone is a winner. I fully expect him to not even be there in the end but I'm going to enjoy him while he is there.
Can I say that I loved seeing Ethan there? He is definitely a sentimental pick for me to win but logically I don't see it happening. He is just loving the opportunity to even be there playing the game. Love it!
I haven't even tried to find spoilers for this season. The normal way of telling who lasts a long time (weight loss) won't apply because of EOE. With this group I don't see any of them leaving EOE until they send them to Ponderosa. $2million is a real motive to stay put.

I don't watch Survivor. I became Rob and Amber fan from The Amazing Race. Love them and really is cool to see that this show is not going down hill like you know what has!
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

I also am not a fan of "the Queen." Was really hoping for a great surprise to see her be the first eliminated from her tribe. But then Natalie had to go and give her the immunity idol!!!

@Sprite I am! This is my all time favorite show. I liked your POV above and totally agree.
Not a big Sandra fan, at all.

Wednesday night was another awesome episode.
Only Boston Rob could get every one to empty their bags at TC. Classic Boston Rob.
I had hoped Ben would be the one to go but now I think Boston Rob is keeping him around for the chaos he creates. Will be interesting to see this play out.

Is anyone watching this? I wish that they would show who voted for who at the end like they have done in the past.
Tony is really the one making all of the decisions, and if he gets to the very end, he could win the 2 million dollar prize. He still has an immunity idol to save himself at the next tribal council too, so I wonder who will be his next target?
So, who were the 3 people who were left out of his plan to vote out Kim? They showed that Michelle wrote down Jeremy's name, so I don't think that she was in the loop. My guess is that the other 2 who voted for Jeremy were Ben and Denise. And Tony was able to convince Sarah to vote out Kim.
Does that sound about right?

I wish that they show us as well who wrote down what.
There are 8 people left last night so it'll have to be a 5-3. We know Kim wouldn't vote for herself so with Michelle that's 2 votes for Jeremy. We know Nick already flipped, that leaves us with Denise. Kim, Michelle and Denise are the votes for Jeremy and everyone else for Kim. With Kim voted off there goes my Top 3, if I even have any Top 3 left. It keeps getting replaced as people get voted off like Sophie and Kim.
One would think that after witnessing Tony and Sarah loudly discuss how Tony supposedly ruined Sarah's game, the rest will see that those 2 are joined at the hips and should be the next target.
I'm really annoyed with the side chats during tribal; it's very disrespectful. They should have done all those conspiring alliances before they get there. The one good thing about that is the jury getting a clue as to who is alligned with whom and who's running the show.

Oh, of course it was Kim, Denise and Michelle. I forgot about Kim. Lol. So, when Tony patted Ben on the knee that was because Ben "was a good boy" and voted as Tony wanted him to.
Yes, I agree that the jury is getting a glimpse of who is in and who is being left out. It will be interesting to see what happens at those tribal councils once the hidden immunity idols are no longer being played. And there will also be someone returning to the game after they win their way back in for a chance at the money.
I think that they all realize that Tony and Sarah are teamed up together. And I could see Sarah getting voted off, especially if someone outside of their "3-person" alliance were to win the immunity necklace next week. It all depends on Nick and which side he aligns himself with. If not Sarah, then Jeremy could finally be voted off.
