Reddit reminded me of this today. I had totally forgotten about the accident and that he thinks he survived to be with Kaitlyn and after all that, he is dragging his feet on marriage???! I’m so mad  I wanna call Shawn into my office for a performance review as a f1.

Does anyone know more about what Shawn is doing in today's Instagram story? He’s helping a work crew build a gym from a stripped down room in downtown Nashville. Coming 06/30! Is this his gym (primary owner or co-owner), or is he helping build a friend’s gym, or is it a private studio to film workout videos or ? Just wondering if I missed them talking about it. I suspect it isn’t private because rent can’t be cheap in downtown Nashville, seems like another location would be better for that.

Oh wow, that is awesome!!!! Damn, it would’ve been easy to just do a light makeover and save a lot of money, they must be doing OK if they can afford to start from scratch (maybe with some of the newer equipment from the old gym, I dunno). I skipped over a lot of photos that showed how much they’re doing in there, they gutted that place.

So Shawn has his new gym, Kaitlyn has her new podcast studio in their house, I’m happy they’re both working on things they enjoy!


ETA I forgot to say Kaitlyn mentioned they had photos taken of her podcast studio and she will be posting them soon. She showed some of it in an insta story last week and it really is nice.

Shawn's opening his own gym? So effing cool!

EDIT: Also, maybe the reason Shawn's put off getting married is that he didn't feel he was where he wanted to be career wise and now with his gym opening he'll be more open to finally getting hitched. Or maybe I'm being delusional

My heart hurts for Kait. She deserves better imo. Guess it’s not a fan comment after I wrote it. I feel very fan-y but so bummed for her that she doesn’t even want to wear the ring since it’s not a “real” engagement.
