Bachelor In Paradise - Season 4 - Potential Contestants - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Not to defend Derek too much, but I suspect he was just trying to be nice by making up an excuse to dump Olivia. He probably just learned how intense she is and wanted to run in the opposite direction. JMO.

Does any else get the feeling the RS is a stodgy old man that sort of doesn't understand the concept of modern dating - it can be everything from casual fun to exclusive and the people involved will negotiate. Every time he talks about the alums I feel like he's using one hand to clutch his pearls.

That said I don't watch paradise so i'm not too bothered about the drama there but I just get a kick out of how silly some of these people are.

I agree- I don't think Steve gets it imo. They are not boyfriends, they are men these girls are sleeping and hanging out with exclusively until one or both partners meets an actual girlfriend/boyfriend. Right or wrong or whatever, it's just the modern day reality. Steve is out of touch and it colors his posts and spoilers imo.

While I agree that there are various shades of relationships these days, I do find it kind of weird to be casually dating someone who's thousands of miles away from you. Astrid lives in Florida and Alexis in New Jersey, yet they're constantly travelling to Dallas for booty calls? All that travel is taking the casual out of casual dating for me. JMO.

@mindless I personally casually dated a guy in Melbourne and I live Sydney. It was fun while it lasted and nothing serious and I got enjoy girls trips with my mates going down there. Honestly don't know if its that big a deal. In fact travel makes me doubt exclusivity more...

Yep, they just want to travel, have adventures and see each other (the girls). I "dated" someone 4 hrs away when I was in college too, it wasn't anything and isn't anything here either imo.

But Astrid has been dating her boyfriend since New Years it seems and also Alexis .

Corinne has actually been dating the guy for months from what I can tell. She posts snaps with him a lot, and pictures of him sleeping in bed. And I definitely think their relationship is pretty serious.

Is wonder if her boyfriend is going with also. It makes me mad and I don't wanna watch this season but at the same time I do for the other contestants and not the ones that are getting a free ride to get a free ring

No skin off my back as I won't watch either way.
