Rachel Lindsay - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #2

Wow! I can say I am a bit shocked. It screams (loudly to me)Rachel is still bitter over not being chosen or should I say "Vanessa" being chosen. It would be in her best interest to get a handle on the 'Tude and quick, IMO.

I can easily see how Vanessa could have rubbed her the wrong way esp when Vanessa's confident attitude came from time spent with Nick. It is what it is.  But now that time has passed and Rachel has seen N&V relationship play out, esp after observing V's family during HTD week, I expected her to GET Vanessa's personality totally. I really thought she would soften and see the other side of the story. Rachel is intelligent and it isn't hard to figure out. She's the new Ette. What more does she want? I'm sorry but that insta by Rachel and Alexis tells me all I need to know. The windows of the car must have been cracked cause classy flew out the window pretty quick, IMO. SMH

Maybe MF will truly get the type of season he drools about after all.

I agree. I don't think it had anything to do with Nick choosing Vanessa over the other women. It's way too simplistic and I, personally, want to give both Rachel and Vanessa more credit than that. Whatever the reason was for that disagreement, it was between Rachel and Vanessa. I think neither of them are saints nor heroes, in spite of how many people sided with whom (popular votes? pffft. ). I think they both have different perspectives of what happened as there's always two sides to every story. And to paraphrase Nick for a sec, I don't think either one of them came off as good or as bad as we think.

As far as the IG video.... Rachel had every right to answer that question, but I think it would've been the wiser decision to disregard it. And FTR, I think I remember saying that it would've been wiser for Vanessa not to like pacozero's comment re: Nick's bored expression when talking to DLo. So I hope I'm not coming across biased here.

My stance is the same on both incidents, which is that not only were they both unnecessary, it also wasn't smart IMO. I think the fact that w/e happened wasn't shown makes it more likely that someone will spill the beans in the next couple of weeks. Everyone involved in the two alleged altercations seem to be itching to get it off their chests IMO. I actually think the girls are only being vague right now because their friends Raven and Rachel are still on the show. I think after the finale airs, several of the women will tweet/like shady things that shed more light on one side and Vanessa will probably like some IG/twitter comments that shed light on her side. IMO The only person who won't chime in is Danielle M because she's friends with everybody . All JMO.

When we consider all the little pieces of evidence alluded to through sm since the season started airing, the V-R issue seems to stem from the group date when R's team won, but V's team cried and Nick relented and let them come to the party. The posse or clique or whatever they call themselves, didn't like it and pinned it on V. Maybe she did throw a giant hissy fit, but it was Nick who made the decision.

I haven't said anything before, but I was disappointed in all the sm 'smugness' going on among that little group of girls, and now this incident with R and A clearly spell it out. Fans can choose to ignore or justify the behavior, but to me it just reinforces the idea I had that they got mad cause they felt that Nick played favorites. They forgot it wasn't a competition, but a journey for HIM to find his person. They have shown themselves to be immature and mean-spirited. imo.

Now I'm curious to watch Rachel's body language and hear her words of choice when she has an exchange with Nick during WTA. He is the exact same person he was the last time she saw him and she liked him pretty good if I recall.

I don't think they're bitter because Nick didn't choose them, rather bitter because Vanessa, who they all disliked, "won". They probably see it as Nick validating her "bad" behaviour. In any case, it's stupid because Nick was there to find a mate for himself, not to rank these ladies in some kind of an order of congeniality. I really hate how the competition aspect of this show makes people think some deserve a rose more than others based on stuff that has nothing to do with their relationship with the lead. Rachel herself has said that the worst thing about the Bachelor was living with all these women, so you'd think she would understand others, like Vanessa, struggling in that environment. It doesn't mean Vanessa is a bad person in real life or a poor match for Nick. JMO.

SM will apparently be alive and kicking before and after WTA. Who knows what Life and Style and those other crappy media outlets will come up with. Whew weeeee! I don't care if Rachel didn't like Vanessa for whatever reason. She can dislike her all she wants.

My problem is that now, months after the fact, she is the one going on with beef concerning Vanessa and clearly Vanessa has moved on since Vanessa tweeted congrats to Rachel and hasn't said anything negative about her on her SM.

Most importantly, Rachel was announced as the Bachelorette BEFORE the season even ends and BEFORE she even leaves the show so what is her point in going on about the F1?

To me that isn't keeping it real or 100 at all considering Vanessa is supportive of Rachel as the Bette. I could understand if Vanessa was on her SM speaking negatively about Rachel but that is NOT the case - the opposite is the case.

So how Rachel is choosing to be months on from this show is on Rachel, IMO, and to me it is not classy at all to be speaking negatively of someone who has, months down the line from the show, shown support for her.

To me that's mean spirited and sour grapes and shows me Rachel holds grudges and Nick is not like that at all, IMO, and so far it seems Vanessa isn't either since she's shown support for Rachel.

However, Rachel seems to be the one holding a grudge for whatever reason and to me it's just plain immature and I'd say that about any of them -- Move on. Grow up. Be grateful.

I really wish I know the truth about the situation that went on, but such is life.  I can not walk in their shoes to know how they feel when they are disrepected.  Here is a thought there are 2 sides to a coin. On this side R says she does not like her on ig story, I might say she is bitter, on the other hand the next side of the coin V sends congrats on tweeter? I could say is she genuine? after all they did not left on good terms. I dont know them but as an outsider I support them both. MOOC

I am not team R or Team V. I have been and always will be Team Nick so that's where I am coming from. So I just think regardless of the "truth" that out of respect to Nick and with Nick showing so much support for Rachel that she would extend the same support to him and his choices. I'd say the same about V and will be on her case like nobody's business if she breaks his heart.

So again, to me, it's not about who is right or wrong but moreso that Nick has been through the ringer before and he has been nothing but wonderful to Rachel so I am disappointed in her because it does reflect on him her remarks regarding his F1/his choice and I feel Nick deserves to be at least as supported and respected as he has shown himself to be regarding Rachel.

That's NOT happening IMO. Also she posted a video three hours ago, and followed Olivia an hour ago, so not so silent. Pretty normal in terms of her usual SM use
