Rachel Lindsay - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #2

Thank you for the recaps naijabach and coolangel. While  it's frustrating not to see the video with full context, I think it's fine for Rachel to say she didn't like Vanessa.  Nick said the same publically about the F1 on both his Bachelorette seasons. Multiple times. He was snarky about it too IMO. How is this different?  Girl cackle?  

If it's okay for Nick, it's ok for Rachel in my opinion.

I will watch Rachel's season and hopefully enjoy it. ***EDIT***

I'm disappointed, tbh. Up until now, I had a lot of respect for how Rachel was handling the drama. I still think she's, generally, a good person and I'm hopeful she will make a good bachelorette. However, I'm not a fan of these comments. Not because I disagree with them, because we've all known for a while that Rachel isn't friends with Vanessa. I dislike this behaviour because it's petty and obnoxious, and it stems from the ugly side of female friendships. By saying "No, we don't [like her]" she's speaking on behalf of her and Alexis, and possibly their circle of friends. And that's super off-putting to me.

Rachel is looking like Andi 2.0. What a rude and immature attitude to display when she is the next Bachelorette. I have a feeling Rachel might not be laughing so much after she watches her season air....and she has to deal with all the opinions on SM that come with being the Bachelorette. She better buckle up.....IMO. What a disappointing thoughtless display.

The difference is that Rachel is actually the new lead. She just looks catty, IMO. What is she gaining by saying she dislikes the F1? Nothing. JMO

My only thought after watching that IG live is that I like Rachel a lot more when she is not surrounded by these 24-25 year old's who IMO have a lot of growing up to do. I always wonder what she has in common with them to be such fast friends.

IMO The truth eventually comes out about people's real personalities. Time will tell. All JMO.

What's even worse is that Nick has said wonderful things about Rachel and even Alexis. Though can't say the same for Rachel and Alexis.

I also was never a Rachel fan, there was always something about her that I didn't like, I just couldn't put my finger on it.
I was coming around after watching her HTD but after reading about her and Alexis' comments on Vanessa on istagram live (I only read it here, didn't see it myself), I'm completely turned off and don't think I'll be watching her season.
This cast, alongside with Jojo's cast, is the worst ever, so I won't be watching BIP either.
Luckily, Nick and Jojo had one right contestant on their season, their F1. All JMO.

I can't take some of these comments seriously because they are not objective IMO. It is totally fine to comment on the contestants - good, bad, ugly - and to agree to disagree about contestants.

However, it is not okay and against forum rules to comment about the members for their opinions on the contestants. Members don't need to be objective in their comments. They can comment whatever they want as long as it is about the contestant and within forum rules.

Please keep the discussion on the contestants only and not on fellow members. TYIA

How do you know that she has no valid reason to dislike the F1? And this is not about Nick, they allegedly had a fight. Corrine said on reddit that Vanessa said something that were not nice about Rachel behind her back. Many people have confirmed Rachel was not involved in the drama in the house including Taylor who is bffs with Vanessa. Why does Vanessa get the benefit of the doubt and not Rachel. If someone does not like Rachel, then don't like her but nothing she has done so far from what I have watched, read and heard shows that she classless, immature or bitchy IMO

I didn't have a problem with the content of she said, I don't care if she likes Vanessa or not, I still really like and respect her, & I'm still gonna watch her season and get my life. I already knew she didn't like Vanessa so it makes no difference to me. However, while I know that question probably came up more than once and I actually hate when people are doing any form of Q&A and duck the questions everyone wants answers to, IMO it was unnecessary to respond. It just serves no purpose IMO, and she didn't even say why so what''s the point? All JMO.
