Rachel Lindsay - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #2

I like Rachel and I am looking forward to her season. She has wonderful qualities that will make a good Bachelorette. That said.... I stand by my opinion on her inference toward Nick regarding the pond/bouncy house. One thing that has been obvious post season is a level of bitterness being projected from the "squad." IMO Rachel is smart but subtle in her shade....but certainly not above speaking/showing her truth.
As Bachelorette every word Rachel utters and every action she does will be dissected by Bachelor nation. It is a good thing Rachel has thick skin because IMO no matter who is the Lead it is always a bumpy ride. IMO this is something TPTB thrive on. Put the Lead on a pedestal to begin with and then knock them off as the season progresses. It happens every time IMO.

If you are, I was not implying anything indicating "When has Rachel ever said anything suggesting she is different" or reference that she does/did.

I have said many times that I believe TPTB will take the strengths of a prior cast person and use those strengths against said cast person when they become the lead. I remember 2 particular seasons, the lead had massive fanism prior to their season starting and I kept thinking--here comes the bus! IMO it was chaos. That second season with that cast person I watched only 25% of the season as the circus started prior to filming. TPTB creamed that lead, IMO.

Honestly I think she'll do fine. The show will do what they do, editing and manipulating as usual. Who really goes into it prepared? You can argue Nick did, and IMO his experience really didn't help him. If anything I find him unattached and distracted. JMO.

I think it's funny that the girls are al quiet on IG and Snapchat but rachel post on her story of her getting her nails done and getting ready for tonight.
I guess she's allowed to be on social media still

I don't think it matters how smart you are. If you don't co-operate they don't make it fun. Ask JPG. He was loved and promoted at the begining.

What would Rachel do if she's not in a position to accept a proposal. Would she stick with her guns and not accept? Even DeAnna who IMO chose what's his name, just because she had to choose someone.

Despite liking Nick I was always not-so-secretly hoping he wouldn't do the bachelor, because I expected from him this attitude with women, since I believe he is one-woman kind of guy and very peculiar when it comes to "connection", talk, conversation and what is "interesting" to him or not. It wouldn't matter if he did it right after 1st season or after 2nd - all IMO. But despite being himself, he also couldn't/can't control the edit of what they show of his "relationships" and the storyline they chose for him, which IMO is just that, a story, not his actual problem all season long. So Rachel can only hope the story they have chosen for her will do her "proud" ... and part of me thinks they probably will try their best, at least I assume they wouldn't want to make their "history making" to end up as a disappointment for the new acquired audience.

So Ellen said if rachel either has a wine glass of Ellen or shoes with Ellen's face on the first episode of bachelorette then she can donate 10k or 20k to charity

Do you think the producers would allow rachel to have either one in the show ? Ellen is giving her permission to do it.
