My thoughts on the early announcement is that ABC is pulling out all the stops to make her season a smashing success. That includes casting a wider net for bachelors than they have in their grasp right now. Someone like Rachel will bring out professional men who will risk putting their careers on hold - she's really a prize!

I'm not surprised "he was looking for something else" was the reason explains why nick didn't pick her even when she says she didn't doubt what she had with him

I thought Nick was so cute last night when he was trying so hard to pull out of Rachel just how many white guys her dad had entertained as her date.

Favorite moment from last night also. Like it has been pointed out before they just had an ease between themselves where they both could talk about anything. I like how in all her interviews and Nick's likewise there is still some sort of respect between them and what they shared during the show.

Obviously he still massively respects her. I really wonder what went down, because I thought he seemed to like her the most out of all of the women. Like, even with Vanessa, he seemed much more guarded, whereas with Rachel, it was just natural. Raven barely registers. It will definitely be interesting to see what happens in Finland, since Rachel seemed like the clear frontrunner in the last episode. (My guess is that he had picked Vanessa at that point and wanted Rachel free to be the 'ette, which is what happened).

That's so cute! It was cool to see how Rachel knew exactly what he was alluding to. I also love Nick's reaction to her cheesy line at the end too.

I really enjoyed their dynamic. I'm excited to see Rachel be a star in her own season, but I'm dreading watching their goodbye. They were really such a delight together and I found Nick to be his most likable when he was around her.

Awww I really enjoyed their conversation - so normal, real, cute and just ... organic. Not overdramatic. Rachel just has such a calm way about her that I find so appealing. I'm super happy Rachel got her own season but it will be bittersweet to see their breakup (now 100% confirmed)

Rachel's Dad will not be on the hometown dates next week due to the ethics of his job according to her sister.
