Yes and yes Kasha. That self-entitled 'we're a cut above the rest' attitude they exhibit has bugged me from the first.

OH, I completely agree. But, IMO, in some places in the south and/or across the US football is the way of life and only thing that matters. Doesn't matter that UGA hasn't been able to beat Bama or win the SEC in years. A good QB always makes people think it's just within reach and you'll get them next year.
To some priorities tend to be:
1. Religion and/or deity worship of choice
2. Family
3. Football
And sometimes sadly, I think 3 is more important to some people than 2. Other actual real world problems tend to fall behind and after the above list for many, when it shouldn't IMO. And IMO many, including the self proclaimed "Georgia Royalty" should reevaluate their priorities.

Just my two cents. I do live in the South and have for a number of years. There was a time when I had to move every few years and the place where I found the most football fanatics was in buffalo, NY. At first it was kind of horrifying to hear football games broadcasted in the grocery store for example, and hearing about it on every radio station. Non stop football talk all year long...I did succumb to the "fever" and I too became a real fan. I still love the Bills. But being in GA for so long I don't really think that religion, family and football are generalities for people. Definitely family for most, religion for some and football- eh. We all united as a city during the past Super bowl fiasco. As for the Murrays, just my own opinion, Aaron was very very respected as a quarterback and his family was very respected for their charity work and strong family unit.

Laura Walsh wrote:It seems to me if Amanda was so afraid of Josh as in the ex Nick's latest interview and if her family was so worried for her they would tell Amanda to stop provoking him on SM. I certainly wouldn't provoke someone on SM that I was afraid of by calling his mom crazy and changing pictures to call him a douchebag, and on and on. So she can' be all that concerned about her safety. IMO
IMO MM is crazy and using different ways where she can attack Amanda I am not saying what Amanda does is right but if the only way Amanda can stop MM from harassing her is to call her out for the public to see.i totally agree with Amanda. I have dealt with this woman and all I can say is she is evil and will do anything to take you down. JMO

Guess it would depend on where you lived, who you were around, etc.
IMO, while it may not seem accurate for you, it very applicable and accurate to many I've come in contact with over the years and still people I meet and know today.

ETA: and for the record I never said it was a blanket general statement for anyone and everyone living in the south. I said for many in the south it was, has been or is a way of life, again, IMO.

I do not consider myself a bleeding heart. I do wish values could be/would be reduced from sports and that energy placed on other things--poverty, famine, that kind of thing.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, bye Felicia!

Is josh already dating that Crislie girl? I've seen him posting about her all day. Already on to the next victim. Looks like she is a mother too

Unless something has changed with their relationship, I don't think so. They've been friends for a while. I think dating as far back as the Andi days.

I thought she was married but a quick good search shows as of August '16 she was divorcing her husband.
Josh seems really close to the whole nutty (IMO) Chrisley family.
Let's hope they're still just friends. Is their show still on the air? Does this mean we'll see a budding romance on another reality tv show, just not one designed for dating?
Oh brother. Please spare us.

I'll vouch for you on that.
Who the heck is Chrisley?

Lindsie Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best
The family has money and live in ATL. Though doesn't seem they have as much as they let on or maybe they've recouped since the economy tanked. And from things I've heard and read, they're not as sweet and innocent as they act, but IMO, that could be why they've bonded with Josh. Lindsie, the oldest daughter, shillings or did shill Advocrap with Josh.
They are a funny and entertaining at times on the show, but they all have some major issues, IMO. But then, I don't have much for them because I think them along with Honey Boo Boo and her family just that make Georgians look stupid. For the record, we are not all like either weird, disfunctional (IMO) family. JMOAA
