Right foot forward as you step out of a door means good luck.

Luck is a fine thing but you have to work hard to meet your expectations.

Expectations can often lead to disappointments.

Disappointments are sometimes lessons we have to learn.

Learn from your mistakes and you will grow wiser.

Wiser comes with age and experience.

Experience is imperative in a good brain surgeon

..and that is funny, because that was my childhood career ambition.

Surgeon probably saved my DH arm in February.
