Yes, years ago in high school and college.

Have you ever tried something on a dare and found that you actually like it or were good at it?

I love taking a dare, so many things, but public speaking was one I was dared to do that I've continued very successfully.

Have you ever milked a cow?

No and don't intend to.

Have you ever had your furnace crap out on a freezing night?

Yes, in the old days in New York.

Have you ever been swimming in December?

Once, it was exhilarating back then.

Have you ever run to the store only to have your car die on you?

No, but similar: got in the car to meet a bunch of friends for lunch: dead battery.
