At this point I can't be objective. Everything I have sleuthed says Matty. My heart says Lee though. Cmon DM. Spoil it already

It does seem like F1s have sponsored dates or do sponsored activities shown but I don't think the kettle promo would mean anything since past contestants who were not F1 had sponsored activities or dates as well (Emily the villain, Olena with her dress, etc).

My head says Matty, my heart wants Lee.

I am already heartbroken for Lee. It's like a never-ending cycle with these shows for me where my faves are heartbroken (sure they will be fine later on but while I am watching this is how I feel). I just wish that Lee could be F3 if he is not F1. That's what is really sucky about the whole thing for me especially since he has already told Georgia he is scared of getting hurt Add in that Lee has a "massive heart" as Jake said, I really feel for him because he seems like someone who will put others first and be so supportive no matter what. That only makes him more wonderful, imo

Matty and Lee are so different in personality types. Both guys are very good looking and both have a good sense humor. Lee is manly and reserved.  Matty is boyish and exuberant. A life with either one of them will be very different too. I hope Georgia was able to step back and envision what the rest of her life would be like with each one of them and factor that heavily into her choice. This is where I think Lee is a better fit for GL. I just see a much easier meshing of their lives in the long run. I also see Georgia fitting in better with Lee's family. Being as they are both from Melbourne is positive too. I am staying on the Lee for F1 course until Georgia tells me otherwise. Then I'll switch to Lee for the Bachelor.

I feel the same about Matty and Lee being very different boyfriends, but I have to disagree that Lee is a better fit for GL. She has said in her own words that she loves how Matty always brings stuff to the table, and she loves how he lights up a room. To me she's attracted to his energy, and I see them as having a similar energy. Whereas Lee is a lovely, good looking guy, but his energy is much easier/slower paced. I feel as though she keeps bringing up his age because he does seem a lot older than her. Even though Matty has a baby face he is actually 2 years older that GL, and to me, the reason their relationship has blossomed so quickly since hanging out on the trapeze in ep3 is that she loves his energy and is excited by the thought of a life with him.

I have no horse in the race. I found its way more fun to do the guessing when i am indifferent about the outcome . I have no problem with either of these F3 guys winning tbh.As long as its not Courtney..i am good .

its quite funny to me that how come it could be so revealing. See... GL has said (was it in interview or on the episode, or both?) that in the end it will come down to one guy she couldnt say goodbye to..yet..she was shown in the end of “Matty Journey” as saying goodbye to Matty . I was like....that was VERY revealing.....IMO. In a way, it could also imply that saying “Bye Georgia Love’ was the end of Matty Journey on the show as well. The Matty clip also owned the narration of “descending curve”: he was described as the perfect guy with so much love and so much to offer ..but in the end she just had to say goodbye to him. Sadz. (On a brighter note..im sure girls will be lining up in a mere seconds after he being announced as the next lead )

As for Lee, his edit in the clip continued to showcase the F1 edit in my book. As opposed to Matty, Lee got the line of her not wanting to see all this end with him. Quite the opposite of goodbye with Matty and also very telling..IMO. This clip inherit a somewhat of “ascending curve”: began with Lee’s unfortunate backstory as “always the groomsman, never the groom” ended by kissing the girl who said didn’t want to all end with him, which IMO implying his HEA .

Its also interesting to note that the clip showcased Glee kissing in the end-as opposed the one of Jake (at meet and greet) and the one of Matty (saying goodbye at HTD).

The way i see it, only Courtney and Lee has gotten all the F1 edit all season, with GL’s VOs such as : scary to fall in love with him and does he really likes me?, am i his type? respectively . In addition, both guys’s VOs and PIs implying doubts/insecurities can be found all over the episodes. With Courtney out from the equation, that leaves Lee as the sole F1 IMO.

What i found as funny as well interesting are the captions for both :

Matty and Georgia’s relationship has been a slow burn.
Will this dark horse sweep our Bachelorette off her feet?

Lee began his journey ready to find love. Has he found that with Georgia?

IMO the answers for both are YES . But definitely hold different meanings . As the former one doesn't necessarily translate to love. (FWIW Kevin W of Jasmine – who IMO is a runner up- had the sweet off her feet theme too in his bio ).

imo, they are both gorgeous and would be wonderful boyfriends. Part of me is thinking with Georgia going through the terrible time with her Mum, Lee and his family would be right there for her - Lee's mum and grandma are so warm and loving whichis what she needs now and in the days, weeks, months etc to come.

So, I just watched the promo at the beginning of episode 1. Theres really so much Matty. They said "her rocky road to romance" and they zoom in on Matty. Then paved with heartbreak (zoom in on Jack). "I don't wanna have to upset anyone" (zoom on Lee and Jake when they are standing there with Matty). As the bachelorette opens her heart to love and then comes Matty "and now you`ve got my butterflies going crazy". "I felt like to most special girl in the whole world (Matty and her). "I`ve feel like I known you forever" (the head to head sc of her and Matty, though I think thats something she told Lee). I feel that " I cannot fault you at all, your perfect" sounds very sad. Not at all like a love declaration from Matty though...

That's an interesting interpretation, IMO it is a confident declaration from some-one who is sure about his feelings. It's all in the ear of the beholder

It's not what he'll say post-FRC to me... possibly a declaration he makes Weds night... but it's not sad IMO.

He's telling her she's perfect. I think whoever comes in as F2 will be too hurt and emotional and conflicted and heart broken to be saying things like that. Usually the F2 thanks them for the experience and wishes them well, and that's about it. You wouldn't be telling her she's perfect if she's now another guy's girl... it's inappropriate.

I find this part of Matty's interview quite telling:

"PS: How worried were you about heartbreak at this point?

Matty: This point is where the reality set in. I hadn't, at any point up until now, tried to stop my feelings developing for Georgia. And now with the end in sight, the feelings for Georgia are snowballing. Part of me feels like the longer I leave it, the longer I let myself fall in love with Georgia, the more exposed I am and the more hurt I am. The safety mechanism almost wants to kick in and be like, "Hang on a sec, let's just put everything on hold until you're the final one, and then you can start to enjoy it and fall back in love." It's a tricky situation that you don't want to stop because it's really enjoyable, but it's also really scary at the same time.

If he isn't F1, would he be saying "let's just put everything on hold until you're the final one", or would he be saying, "let's just put everything on hold until you know if you're the final one"... I know I'm reading in hope, but could be a possible slip up?

exactly my interpretation of it. It would be far too weird for Matty to say those things if he was F2 - makes no sense. I'm think the FD or LCD is when he says it - and I don't get a sad vibe from it, more so what G was saying in the interview, that Matty wasn't afraid to tell her exactly what he's feeling because he knows the situation they're in. To put it in bachie terms 'laying all his cards on the table'.
