Bachelor 21 - Nick Viall - Media SM Vids - Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #2

I think Corinne is who Fleiss says looks like Ivanka Trump. I do think she's being shown a lot, and the fact that she may have been let go at f3..makes her a solid candidate for ETTE IMO. If she's ETTE, she's gonna need to tone down of the face work, because she looks pretty bad right now IMO.

I use to go unspoiled and in some ways, it was more enjoyable for me. You don't know anything about anyone other than the lead. My opinions were formed the night of premiere. It was interesting to see personalities unfold  as emotions became involved. If Corrine's personality is true to previews, I can see why Nick kept her. She's right up his alley in so many ways.

But, this is Nick...no way I can sit by and wonder how things are going. Lol, this is one time I'll be ticked RS got it wrong with his spoilers. He better be sure when he writes that blog or stay hushed up!!! I'm not interested in his opinions.

Fleiss is really pushing it if he think Corrine looks exactly like Ivanka Trump. Maybe Tiffany.

I wonder if she'll actually be anything like Kaitlyn...someone else suggested she might be the "hump" girl and I can totally see that. I have a feeling she'll be one that rubs people the wrong way. Don't think she'll be the bachelorette either, but who knows. They've had some very surprising picks over the years. IMO.

IMO, whoever hump girl is, she grabbed his attention right out of the gate. I can see him getting a good laugh out of it! All in good fun.

I personally think it's hilarious and love it and I think nick will too!

Just think she might rub people the wrong way in general, not because of that (if it is even her). Just a vibe I get from her ITM in that promo. IMO.

IMO TPTB don't have much to gain from showing Nick in a negative light this time around. If anything, they risk alienating people who have reservations about their choice but might still be willing to give it a shot. If I were TPTB, I would show Nick in a very flattering light so as to convince the skeptics of his sincerity and get them to watch the show.

IMO the dynamics is very different when a lead is well liked before the show. No one IMO would stop watching even if the lead displays some negative behavior when the show is airing. However, for someone who was controversial, people might just go 'Ah I was right, nothing to watch here'. IMO TPTB won't risk that.

However, if TPTB end up dragging him through the mud again, Nick will be just fine IMO. The guy is pretty much wrought iron at this point.

The fact that they are using bad, good, misunderstood, controversial, people love him/they hate him....interesting. He's not getting out unscathed.

Honestly, I think this is just a case of saying what everyone is already thinking anyway. They can't use the Ben or Farmer Chris type promo for Nick because really, even I would laugh at that and I like Nick. The fact is, he IS the guy who was dumped twice at F2 and he HAS been the villain to many who watch the show and he WAS a shocking and controversial pick as the next Bachelor. All of these things are just facts.

So why not have fun with it and just own it? Nick sure does. I don't think that's any indication that the producers will drag him during the season or anything of that nature. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it won't happen because like I've said, the only thing these producers are concerned about is viewers and producing a show that keeps people watching and clicking online. They don't really care about any of these people.

However, I don't think these promos are an indication of that. I think it's just the producers and probably Nick being like, "well, might as well address the obvious and have some fun with it."

Can't wait to see this all play out, not the "other tears" part of course that will be difficult to see but the joyous ones I've been waiting for quite some time now!
