IMO there could be as many that don't want or don't think that Matty would be a good bachelor so IMO, that along with the new info regarding that Matty may be dating someone, he won't/shouldn't be the next bach and likely someone else will do it. Just think that Matty doesn't have what it takes to do a season as the lead.

Matty hasn't confirmed this relationship yet. Until he does, he is still a contender for the next Bachelor IMO.

Network 10 have also commented that Matty and Nathalie are just friends...makes me think even more that Matty is a strong contender. Why bother to comment at all if he wasn't in the running? All JMO.

sorry but I really believe the article. and REALLY believe that Matty isn't a consideration for the next bach. What does network 10 gain by not responding?? NOTHING, IMO. That is why they did say something. IMO, Matty isn't being considered. He is in a relationship per what I see on IG and from the article.

I have to agree in_denial. It seems weird that Channel 10 would comment if they weren't considering him. They didnt comment when Jake was rumoured to be with Faith.

What I've noticed is the media exposure of Matty seems to be continuing which seems almost like they want to keep his name in the limelight. There have been sort of weekly articles about him across various media sources.

I personally am hoping for Matty as Bachelor 17. He has quite a big following on SM. He has more followers than Lee or any other Bachelorette contestant this year.

What evidence is there of Matty having a gf apart from a photo of him touching a woman's arm?

Rooting for him to be the next bachelor - he was a tremendously popular F2 so while I'm sure you'll never find a lead that has 100% support from the beginning, I know he has already developed quite a fanbase

guess time will tell, but IMO, he's just not going to be the next lead....

If that journalist thinks picking something off someone's arm constitutes flirting up a storm, I think they might need to get out more!  It doesn't look affectionate at all IMO and she doesn't even touch him back.  

IMO I still think Matty's single and the frontrunner for Bach '17.  Also the fact that Ch 10 bothered to comment suggests to me they still have a vested interest in what Matty's doing and how he's being perceived.

Same thing was said about Olena Richie's F3 when pictures of her surfaced at the beach and at a restaurant before she was eliminated. She must have just been friends with the guy.

Where there's smoke there's fire. If he is in contention of being the bachelor, then IMO he should know better not to hang around with females, because stories like this get out. And, if he is hanging out with this girl, then drops her to be the next Bachelor, we'll hear about it I'm sure.

IDK, the more I read about him the more I just find him to be a little strange in the things he says.

IMO that's a pretty dumb thing to say. If you bump into them, who's to say Georgia or Lee would feel awkward. Why would he even expect to have a friendship with her? Friends as in what? hang out together, chat on the phone?

He's just weird IMO.

Maybe he was asked by the interviewer "will you maintain a friendship?" Then that answer would be logical.

Also, bumping in an ex is awkward. It always is, all he is saying is that if he did bump into her, he hopes it wouldn't be awkward.
