I've been thinking about that from last night. And what was the point in telling that? I guess we'll see...

What a doll.. I really like her smart and funny and seems like she can hold her own. She'd make a fun lead.

I didnt like her. She told Liz she could trust her and wouldnt say a word so Liz confided in her, then went right on and blabbed to Nick and practically dangled the fact that she knew something the other girls didnt in their faces while Nick and Liz had a talk. To me that was tacky.

I also wonder if in some way, shape or form, production did not have a hand in the confidentiality and spill from Liz to the virgin, of all people. The juxtaposition of the characters are too coincidental, IMO.

It's a grey area for me. I think confidences should be kept automatically however everything has its possible exceptions, times when a confidant has to make a judgement call.
Night one we saw Liz pretend to not know Nick, or at least wait to see if he knew her, then use their story as a break up skit so who knows how many weeks she might have tried to coast and keep her version of gaming going yet tell even more girls. Hypothetically, having that kind of sidebar play out in the house unknown to Nick would have been very damaging.
Christen moved the storyline to its conclusion by her disclosure so she helped him by breaking ranks. Tough call.

Agree. I think that if I was in her situation, I would be loyal to Nick more than the BFF I met 4 days before. I think she wanted to let Nick know that she understood why it was uncomfortable for him, given Liz and Nick's situation. Nick totally led the convo to it. I believe she would have kept her mouth shut had she not been prodded. That's not to say that she doesn't snitch regularly because if she does, it will definitely change my opinion of her.

I think the whole thing from start to finish has producers sticky fingers all over it. Getting Liz to come on the show, having her confide in the virgin, the break up date, having the virgin spill to Nick. All producer set up. The only thing they didn't control was Nick's reaction. I suspect he may have got rid of Liz sooner than they hoped. Either way, glad we can move past her storyline next week once Nick deals with the after math of his little bomb shell. Then we only have to deal with Corinne and her drunken, trashy ways.

I agree. I bet part of production was hoping Nick would actually go as far as to sleep with her and then dismiss her before the FRC. (not cruel enough to say the next RC )
To me, this season is starting to take on life imitating art, imitating life. A competition of whether TPTB can say "gotcha" to Nick first or Nick saying to TPTB "gotcha before you got me".  Liz didn't have to go on this date, it was perfectly set up so she would.

I think part of the enjoyment for me in this season will be watching the Nick vs tptb song and dance. They will throw everything in their arsenal of tricks at him. He knows it and will be expecting it, but he just doesn't know what to expect and will try his best to deflect and do damage control. Liz was the just the first salvo in this game of chicken. Who will come out on top? Who will outsmart who? Who will outwit, outlast, outplay? Staying tuned...
