Rachel Lindsay - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I think the Corrine show keeps overshadowing Rachel and Raven ette edit. It sucks because Corrine isn't even going anywhere anytime soon. Her hometown date will probably overshadow the other HTD as well.

She's very genuine and comes off like someone you want to be friends with after watching her date with Nick this past week.

I think people had a hard time finding her that first episode because her handle was "thebigrach" instead of her name, and then she disappeared for three episodes. A lot of the girls already had 50-150k by the fifth episode,, whereas she was basically starting from scratch.

The biggest surprise to me was all the Sarah love because she was rarely seen with Nick throughout her time on the show and only shown more recently as someone questioning Corinne.  A head scratcher due to the amount of tweets I saw about her.

It would be great if Corinne was let go in Miami.  But then we have the misfortune of Dorfman showing up in NY to continue to sidetrack opportunity for fans to connect with the final 3.
Wouldn't it be just like tptb to bring back Andi as Bette 2.0?  Sadly, I'm not joking.

I hope she's the next lead. I think (cross my fingers) she will attract more diverse contestants, not just of ethnic background, but of age, career, etc. They have to cast men of late 20s -early, mid or even late 30s, right? and hopefully not just models, musicians or personal trainers, but lawyers, medical doctors, engineers, bankers... hey, a fan can dream, right?

Sorry, just not a fan. Maybe that will change in the next few epis.

No. I thought Jen S was a great person but she wasn't a match for Nick.  The same IMO here.  He's looking for what his parents described.

 I really want a Bette in her 30's and Rachel has so many positive attributes to bring to the role of Bette. Agree, she would draw from a more diverse pool of candidates in many respects.

I would love to see rachel as a lead, and not as some cheap diversity quota (referencing the tptb and what their thought process might be like). I just don't think there's ever been a lead like her before IMO. She's accomplished, and warm, and caring, like several others, but she's also, like Sharleen said in her recap, a pragmatist. Even excluding my personal feelings on her (I think she's wonderful) I'm just very interested in what a show with someone as nuanced as her would look like. All JMO.

Loved her date with Nick. To me this season IMO Nick only likes 2-3 women and she is one of them.
