 I think as long as she has explained her modelling career in an authentic way to Nick he will support her if there is SM backlash no matter how she fairs on the show. Many of the contestants model as does Nick. Danielle's genre of modelling and her work mates are in a slightly different version so IMO her clarifying her job to Nick early on makes sense as he doesn't like "omission".

I don't get a "villian" vibe from her either but it's the perception of the housemates that determines that ... valid or not.

As to where she is in the pecking order at this point, we know much more about her given her web presence, which is extensive compared to everyone else whose name is out there, and she was on 2 concert dates that had, understandably, the greatest media coverage so at this point there is much less to go on with other girls.
Dani M is known but we saw very little of her interaction with Nick, Raven was with tweens in the vid/pic coverage so it's harder to gauge their interactions.  The other girls on the BSB GD were bravely trying to complete their routine but that's all we really saw.

Still curious as to who the epi 3 1-1 was.

My guess is she won't be the final one or Bachelorette. Just my opinion. I can't imagine having to explain that to his Mom or little sisters. Awkward, wonder if that will be her storyline...similar to Jades at her hometown.

His friends and parents could have already looked her up on the web just like sluethers prior to him being in his hometown as her name was out there (RS spoiler) - at least I think it was before his cafe date with his parents.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - I also have a soft spot for Danielle because of her ethnicity (I'm Vietnamese-Chinese in ethnicity & Canadian in citizenship-nationality) I actually think it's so interesting that Danielle seems to be polar opposite in terms of job/career choice than every other Asian girl I know. I must say I relate more to Caila academically/artistically, but the places Danielle frequents in her social life (Asian restaurants, bubble tea shops, free mani pedis at nail salons because you know the owner or own the place yourself haha, generally hanging out in k/Chinatown) - I can relate to that as well. It's very rare for me to see that on screen.

She seems like a sweet girl in the scenes of Roll Models that I watched (like [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], for "sleuthing" purposes ). Just my opinion, but I would prefer to see how she is on The Bachelor & judge her by how she treats others than by how she makes money (and IMO there is a huge difference between bikini/lingerie modelling & literal pornography. I would personally hesitate to make that leap.)

Even if she is the villain I still think I'll feel compelled to defend and root for her just because I hate it when TPTB is misogynistic and gives the "slutty" woman the villain edit as if those kinds of women are bad or immoral and can't be good or nice people. Perhaps the Viall family will be hesitant about her because of this. That's fine but it's not their choice, it's Nick's. Perhaps the Lo's and the parents of the other women will be hesitant about Nick because it's public knowledge he had sex with two women on TV and for being on reality TV for a fourth time. Who knows? Perhaps we all care more about this than any of the folks involved will.

I don't know if she will be the villain. All depends on comments/material, lines she gives them, and if she has drama with the other girls, and gets along with them or not. Jade didn't get the villain edit. But her playboy stint was part of her edit at the end. I know I liked Olivia last year and she ended up the villain. So who knows.

I don't think Britt was a villain per say...but since she got a lot of attention with Chris and she was gorgeous, some of the girls were jealous--- and she was labeled the wrong reasons girl. So Danielle could be more like that, but again who knows. jmo.

i also agree with you three! nick can easily look past her background if he really digs her. nick is a little less judgy when it comes to this kind of stuff. as far as "villain" goes, if she is one, nick will also not give any fcks because he was considered one too.

IMO the villian edit is most often a person perceived to not be there to make friends

It's interesting you mentioned D is almost polar opposite than most Asain girls in terms of jobs. I hate to stereotype but agree with you that most Asains I know put major emphasis on academics. I wasn't aware of Asian models in the sports car industry until I read this forum. That's interesting IMO.

IMO all ethnicities are represented to some degree in all work sectors. It's a matter of where you live, aptitude/talent, what opportunities are available, and work/training choices.

I'm with you with the lack of knowledge re. import models - I always thought models at car shows were just general models hired for those shows I had no idea that there was such a specific industry & of the term "import models" at all until reading about Danielle on this forum.
