I was so excited when I saw this news, and what a great interview! There are obviously a lot of perks involved with being on "The Bachelorette" and making it far, but other than actually getting engaged to Ashley, I would have to imagine this is JP's favorite perk yet. So awesome!

JP is so much nicer than I am. After all the crap In Touch wrote about him during the season, he would have been completely justified telling them to go to hell. (Had Chris been there, he would've, LOL!) Then again, I guess you catch more flies with honey, and having actually been around JP and talked to him in person, it probably makes it harder to write the speculative, baseless crap they were writing before -- although, given ITW's ethical standards, probably not.

Had to laugh at JP's comments about Ashley's energy. When I get home from work, I don't want to talk to anyone for a good 30-45 minutes while I decompress. That's why I loved the episode of "SATC" where Carrie asked Aiden to leave her alone for an hour when she got home. rotfl

And JP is right, if that's their biggest growing pain, they have it pretty great!

They were in LA all weekend for the half-marathon and took a late flight back to NYC on Sunday - so I'm sure they were exhausted Monday.. if anything I would think they stayed in Monday night for any trick-or-treaters.

Honestly I don't know where they find the time to fit in all their activities.. sounds like Ashley keeps JP on his toes! With the Islanders game being Saturday, I wonder if Ashley's family is coming to NYC and bringing her dog Boo to her?

Did anyone read the Wetpaint article about how much Bachelor/ette leads earn? Sounds like Ash & JP are making a little money in appearance fees.. I'm sure Ashley could really use every penny to pay off her dental school loans, which must be huge!

I chuckled at the InTouch article ~ they try and make it a negative spin, when JP is positive and upbeat about their relationship. They could have titled it "JP knows they will marry", but we know that, so it's not dramatic. I totally relate to him, sometimes we just need our own 'space', esp. after a stressful work day. That's totally normal and not a big deal.

“I’ll be tired after work, and she’s full of energy!” But the construction manager admits that overall, living with Ashley in their Big Apple apartment is A-OK. “If that’s the worst of it, it's not that bad at all,” he laughed.

She’s still finishing up school,” J.P. explained of University of Pennsylvania dental student Ashley. “After that all gets finished, we’ll start talking about it. There’s no timeline, but we know it’s going to happen!” (when JP was asked about the wedding)

Yeah, you can tell that the make money from appearance fees, because they both have Nancy has their PR person.

They all have publicists, and should get paid for appearance fees, etc. Ali and Roberto, Chris & Peyton have a publicist. And Ali is at alot of events. Chris got all those wedding modeling gigs and was paid for them. Nothing wrong with it, go for it and get paid, because all the rags make money off of them, so it's only fair they get can make money too, imo.
