O.k. I'm with all of you on the grammar. So that's why I cringed when reading what J.P. said in the piece above "myself and Allen Bott". Ouch. Hate when people use 'myself' when they aren't sure whether it should be 'me' or 'I'.

And is 'liasing' really a word???

Love J.P. and will give him some slack. But these are glaring.

And thanks for the info on Michigan and NYU. Makes a ton of sense to me now why Ash was quickly attracted to him.

The "liasing" I suspect is the fault of the interviewer/reporter (The word is just spelled wrong, but it is a word). I don't assume JP wrote down his answers and submitted them (and even then, the reporter should proofread!). Using "myself" is technically wrong, but I guess I am only bothered by the really glaring (to me, anyway) and oft repeated errors that (figuratively, not literally) make my ears bleed, like "I's", "her and I", and obviously improper vocabulary usage, to name a few.

Good point on the "liaising"...how do some journalists make it through English courses in college?!?
