Bachelorette Australia - Georgia Love - Season 2 - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I love the guys on this season - almost everyone that has been showcased so far is likable and charming in his own way.

Similarly to others, I wasn''t really feeling her date with Lee. He's very nice to look at and they make an aesthetically pleasing pair but it felt more like bffs hanging out than anything else. The puns were fun but the fact that they were so similar didn't make for a particularly interesting connection.

I loved her time with Matty - he's so earnest and sweet and I always love when the lead's initial judgement of a contestant gets turned on its head. Her going 'hug me!' and him saying 'I'm trying!' was adorable. Can definitely see them together

Also liked Georgia speaking about her anxiety with regards to Courtney and over-analyzing things. She's very easy to relate to IMO

@grace8136, Lana had a boyfriend by the time they started casting for Bette, and Heather also did, although they have since broken up. Georgia said she was approached by production. She was living in Tasmania before filming started, and I don't think any of the boys are from there, but she is originally from Melbourne, and I believe has lived most of her life there, so boys from Victoria would have the advantage there. I know Lee is from Melbourne, Jake is from Queensland, can't think off the top of my head where the other top contenders are from though.

Thanks! Are her parents in Melbourne? Anyone know where Matty is from? I was just thinking that with her mom being sick, location could be weighing on her mind as she's getting to know them.

Doesn't Matty live in Sydney ?

I'm sure Georgia had her mother at the back of her mind during the filming too.

On a different note, here's a question. When has a lead had barely a connection with a contestant initially,  little or no conversation ( real not edited out of the final show) and opening their eyes to the contestant after a couple of episodes are filmed become f1 on any series ? Besides Sean and Catherine. Are there any other examples?

Isn't Georgia in Melbourne now (I believe her parents are here as well)? Lee is in Melb, so find it strange that they have only met up once if he is F1. Distance wouldn't be a factor.

Yeah distance should not be an issue if Lee is it. But he was in Sydney (Instagram pic with studio 10 guy) 6 days ago so who knows what's up there. He has travelled recently IMO.

IMO Lee seems to be out and about more than a typical f1. It could be that he is just a happy f1 who continues to enjoy life and meeting people. And Matty/Jake are subdued because they are still sore. Or the flip side where one of them is in hiding because they are f1. Not sure if I'm making sense..

I agree with you. It's the first season in along time I like all the guys in their own way. No one is overly annoying or over the top. It makes for a smoother season and we are able to see relationships forming you would t otherwise IMO.

I don't see Georgia and Lee like BFFs since they had their tongues down each other's throats

Plus, Georgia said that she was waiting all day for Lee to kiss her and he "finally" kissed her and she thought it wasn't going to happen (she's almost in tears saying this) and says that she is sooo glad it did happen and that there were definite fireworks and sparks

So definitely not friendzone or just BFFs between them, imo. Not even close - it was hot, hot, hot, imo! :hearts love:

I have to say that I am really enjoying this season so far and regardless of what the guys may be like in real life, I'm really enjoying watching them on screen - Georgia has a great group of guys!

Clancy is so tall and hot. So good to look at.

ETA: I agree, Georgia really lucked out with this group of men. Looks wise, a few of them even out of her league.

When it's Nikki's turn to be the Bachelorette, I hope they get a good group too.
