Richie wouldn't have had any control over the dates. All planned by production and long before he filmed the season.

I do love the Bachelorette seasons more than Bach seasons overall though as I think production does a better job with the men as contestants than the women (always seem to make them look even worse and mean).

Plus, I much prefer a group of men fighting over one woman than the other way around
