Too bad he isn't from Oconomowoc, WI, which isn't too far from Waukesha, or Wauwatosa(my grandparents lived there, also close). That would be even more enjoyable I used to work in Oconomowoc at the Olympia Village Resort.

I just saw this on my google page. I mentioned upthread Nick had said in a podcast that he had deep feelings for both the leads and he didn't regret what he said on the ATFR but regretted the flack Andi got for it. IMO another demonstration of how sensitive he is, thinking of others. He's not afraid to ask candid questions, another reason IMO I think he'll do just fine on his season but I do think that when he asks candid questions sometimes it doesn't come across the way he meant it to. I was wondering why the People interview hadn't been mentioned or posted about here. You ladies are slipping

I saw it on my twitter timeline but couldn't link to it because I was at work. It's a really great interview and fairly consistent to a lot of what he's said. For those who weren't determined to villianize Nick and act like he was the worse human being on the planet and actually listened to what he said after Andi's season, he was always clear that one, he didn't think that just because Andi slept with him meant she had to pick him, two, he had no problem with casual sex and no one, female or male should be judged for that. Especially when it is two consenting adults.

He was always clear that his issue was how cold and callous Andi was towards him so he was more confused and couldn't understand why she would sleep with him if that's how she felt about him, knowing how he felt about her. But people never wanted to hear that. They just wanted to focus on, "you mention you two had sex, how awful and evil." I did love his summation of Andi's book and I think that is a very articulate and accurate way of looking at it.

My thoughts, it's not about 2 consenting adults having sex,
the issue is saying it on national TV for the world to hear
It was a 14 year old's response to rejection. He not only
embarrassed Andi I think it was an insult to all
women. I formed my opinion of Nick that evening and it
hasn't changed. Let me be clear I am in no way a fan of Andi's
I feel now at 36 he still is immature. My respect to his fans. IMO..

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this always amusingly baffled me - "it's because he said it on national television". Um, their WHOLE relationship played out on national television. We're watching a reality show of people "finding love" on national television, which includes making out with multiple people ON national television. And many happily watch this.

But suddenly someone mentioning that he and the lead made love was scandalous and offensive because you can't say that on national television. Okay then. Also, considering it was confirmed that Andi would not speak to Nick at all outside of her obligation to speak to him on the live ATFR, pray tell when was he supposed to ask her that question?

I just find the whole thing hypocritical. "I can watch a man or woman make out and be very intimate with multiple people all in the name of 'finding love' but I am scandalized if someone flatly states that they had sex on the show." The whole thing is ridiculous. And no offense, but an embarrassment to all women? That's certainly giving ol' Nick and hell this C-List show a lot of importance and power.

I can't even freaking wait for this season! Who needs Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's? Bring on January, please!

IDK. He seems super fascinated by his own thoughts in that interview, IMO.   I just can't get past the BS factor.  Goodness knows, I've tried.

So I accidentally bought Andi's book (one click and suddenly it's on my kindle)

and now I'm on that part where Nick while in bed with Andi (or on top of her) asked the most bizarre question, a real lady bone killer as Andi put it. He asked "would you rather we f*ck or make love. Oblivious to how awkward and weird, this sounds.. he went on to say "I would f*ck three times then make love, the fourth". Andi has a flair for narrating embarrassing situations and I was giggling at how strange it was. The lovemaking was also so underwhelming to make up for that gaffe.

Now I'm wondering if the same thing happened with Kaitlyn.

Honestly, I can't find it in me to care one bit what Andi has to say.  Her opinion means nothing to me.  I think it's unfortunate that she felt a need to write such trash about the men who loved her.  Sickening.
