This was a pretty big individual date IMO. Raven got to meet Bella. I would guess family was there watching too.

If they were teaching little ones how to skate that would have been fun and even informative as to how each approaches parenting. Or if it was night at an outdoor rink with a soft snowfall it could be romantic.

I do think he was cute in trying to get Kristina comfortable with the BSB date. I may be too optimistic but I do believe he is going to proceed cautiously based on his past experiences. I really don't think he wants to come across as the old Nick did; I think he is trying to repair his image. Thus, I do see him moving slower with relationships. He has been on the other side and probably is trying his best not to lead anyone on. Since filming is reaching the half way point, I do think he is still getting to know the girls. I will be interested in seeing pictures going forward and hope there is chemistry.

I think it's a bit early to say that. I never expected him to be head over heels for anyone after a couple of dates, he's way too old and been around the block too many times for that. I wouldn't compare this hometown visit to Ben's and Chris's either, since those happened at the F6 stage. Nick's still got loads of women left and he barely knows any of them at this point.

Yeah I have to agree. RS said they were originally supposed to come here in South Carolina for this episode but there was a change of plans due to the hurricane so who even knows if these Milwaukee dates are significant or not. The woman he's most into could've gotten the episode 3 date or may not have even had a 1-on-1 date yet.

That's what I mean, these are clearly first dates with these women (individual ones that is), so whatever their significance it's tentative at best.

I hope you are right and I am wrong. I think part of the reason is I haven't seen any contestant that I really like and think this is the one for Nick. The other reason is I put too much stocks on Nick's hometown dates, but like you guys point out, it's too early to tell.

If most of these women signed up for Luke, I just don't think it will work out for him. I hope that's not the case and that there are SOME women there for Nick.
