I personally like they are pulling back the curtain a bit. The VAST majority of casual fans don't pay any attention to this stuff anyway. Just us weirdos.

I kind of like it too. I wonder if any of the upcoming dates will be spoiled or not, usually a group date requiring use of a certain building/facility/audience will be publicized if they want a live audience...

Hard to make out faces but fashion wise I definitely like the dress of the girl wearing yellow.

I agree it is a fun bright color and shapes her body well. I think I might like the red dress on the left too if I could see it standing up.

Just once I'd love to see several with edgy shorter hairstyles and contemporary short party dresses or longer summery prints.  I always feel like m&g is a prom/pageant knock off with hair extensions/fake lashes & bedazzler-gone-wild instead of a fun energetic evening like meeting a sexy guy in a club or on vacation.

That being said, the women in the pic in red, yellow, and black are certainly   "Jessica Rabbit"  curvaceous.

Remember when Becca Tilley wore a romper her first go round? So refreshing!

i agree, it is too much like the evening gown competition of beauty contests. I know a few of the women in past seasons have done shorter dresses on night 1 and it just seems to make more sense for meeting. I understand the ballroom type dresses for the momentous end where someone could potentially get engaged but the beginning should be more laid back especially considering the evening meet and greet/discussions/rose ceremony go on until it seems the sun comes up the next morning. I'd be more about the comfort than the fashion at that stage....
