And no I don't think that means he's not being genuine or honest, I think it just means he's a thoughtful person who realizes the benefit of thinking before running off at the mouth. As a big believer in that myself, I wish more people felt the same because maybe then, so many wouldn't say stuff they regret.

And yes, I know that might seem odd to say about Nick considering the infamous ATFR comment but I don't think Nick said something he didn't mean to then either. And he's confirmed this by saying he didn't regret it and only regretted how people judged and shamed Andi for it because that was not his intent.

Ileyki, I think you describe Nick better than me. Thoughtful is a great word!!

But he has pursued this role relentlessly, so discomfort with it seems odd to me. I also don't think Luke is all that simple, just because he doesn't advertise his every thought. JMO.

I love Luke. Simpler may be the wrong description. Maybe less conflicted/more self-assured is better. He knows himself well and what he wants. I don't have the same feeling about Nick. He comes across as more complicated, less settled somehow.

Sounds like he's talking about Andi. "Saviano or another one of his love connections" (like who? There's only been 3 and Kaitlyn's taken), "Somebody very familiar" (to the viewers), "rear their head" (been gone a while). I can't stand Andi, but that would be so entertaining.

I agree with this, and imo it's quite funny, because he's praised AshkeyI for being 'real' for her exact opposite behaviour. I love Nick, but many times he can be quite a bit hypocritical. Imo.

Hmmm... while we're speculating, the only person I can think of who might fit the "very familiar" description would be Clare.

Nikki - engaged

Andi -IMO unlikely
Renee - married 

Chris' F4:

Whitney - engaged 
Becca - I've never seen any remote interest/teasing/flirting on either side, whereas iirc Nick & Clare have at least joked around before 
Kaitlyn - engaged 
Jade - married 

Ben's F4

Again, all taken except Caila ... Nick seems to throw subtle shade at her in various podcasts (at least 3 that I can recall & probably more) so while she seems to think he's a great person & has expressed physical interest in him on BIP, I find it unlikely that she isn't aware of the shade & would subject herself to a whole season of that 

Somebody mentioned Olivia earlier, but IMO she's unlikely to come back as she seems to hate what TPTB put her through the first time ...

So all this leaves Clare as the most likely notable returnee IMO (I like Clare, so I wouldn't be mad )

Omg YES ... He's criticized Caila for being "too rehearsed" & trying to say what "sounds good" ... and yet now here he is   & interesting that Nick being "thoughtful" is mentioned in one of the above quoted posts because Caila said she found Nick "calm and well thought out", which I agree with ... but it didn't even dawn on me that this made him a bit of a hypocrite until now

The former flame to return will probably be a nothing person like Leah. She's so desperate to be somebody in this franchise.

Nick is definitely a hypocrite at times. He says things to not lose his bachelor "Friends". who isn't at least a bit of a hypocrite in this franchise though :D I still like him and I am excited for his season.

I would LOVE to see Andi as returnee. I don't think it will happen, but if It does, that will be TV GOLD! Bachelor Gods make it happen! pleaaaaaaase

Jared was on the Here to Make Friends podcast this week he speaks about Nick about being the bachelor near the end of the podcast - last five minutes I believe.

He re-iterates Nick's type being the strong personality type who will give it back to him/challenge him, so he is interested in the women that are on the show. He also thinks the girls will be really happy with Nick once they meet him as he has a swag about him that you really only see in person.

He also seems to share similar sentiments as Nick about the edit - that the show does it best to give the feel of the "house" but agrees a lot is left out or things might be manipulated/over exaggerated etc.
