Jake Ellis - Bachelorette Australia - Season 2 - Discussion

Are the F1's told they have to lay low because Jakes brother is all over instagram and Facebook today doing [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].... His brother and Jakes friends with a open instagram's all have heaps of recent photos of themselves with Jake out at night.. You would think if he was the F1 he would have been more hidden and laying low?

I think they are given SM blackouts as Lee said in an article but I doubt they are told to not go out or socialise. Most F1 will propably not want to be partying with girls but I dont see anything wrong woth going out with family or guys. Shawn B was around the Nashville night scene and even had females around him which led some to believe he wasnt F1.

Yeah. Unless production says "Don't be seen in public" I think it's fine. Jake's profile is set to private so no one can see any photos of him anyway unless you know where to look.

Jake is the winner, though hidden, pretty much still obvious from their lingering kisses plus they never fail to let us see a caption of Jake telling her how special , beautiful or having the butterflies. Go back to episode one when they run through a summary of the season, they show Georgia walking through a door "she opens her heart to love" and then they immediately show Jake in what looks like the final rose ceremony where he looks tense as if waiting for her.

The only draw back is the hidden love story because a lot of 1 on 1 times of Jake and Georgia are edited out purposefully. However Jake admitted in an interview that he had some sneaky kisses with her and they did check in on their chemistry to see if it still existed. I believe that is why he still got a rose each week even though it seemed he was nonexistent after episode 2. A lot of intimate moments were also edited out of their HTD so that viewers cannot see their easy banter and the fact that they can't keep their hands off each other, however this was also caught by the paparazzi. Jake will be more exposed as the season comes to an end me thinks and I believe the public will be enraged yet again cos he was kinda hidden all along while Matty J and Lee were paraded as favorites or supposed F1 and F2

I don't see it. I think she likes him well enough but she isn't as into it as she was at the start whereas he actually seems to be falling for her. It's one-sided. JMO.

I noticed that thing with the arms too!!!

Also, while I've seen the photos of the BTS kissing at his hometown and I believe his comments about how much was left out, my thoughts are that those things must have been left out for a reason - i.e. it didn't support the overarching storyline or the end result.  

There is an undeniable *something* about them when they're together though.  It's almost a 'friends with benefits' level of comfort IMO.  If he does go next I'll be interested to hear what he says in his interviews - he seems like the type to spill some beans.

I'm a fan of the Jake as F1 thesis, for many of the reasons pointed out here (edit, the many ITMs/VOs of him, and the 'I'm stable and here for you' arc of his story). I'm even more a fan of him since hometowns because he's the only one whom Georgia seemed completely relaxed around and his family were so genuine. With Lee, she seemed almost too nervous and too self-conscious about what she was saying, plus the "he goes for blondes" moment was off putting beyond the superficial. (When someone of that age is said to have a specific "type," there's a reason.) With Matty, I didn't see the same depth of connection as with Jack, though they do have a good time together and laugh a lot. Having said all this, how can Jake possibly be F1 given Matty and Lee have been papped in Singapore? I just don't see how it's possible, as much as I like the idea. The Daily Mail has been all over Jake, for some reason, but maybe that's to be expected when one is F3, like I suspect Jake might be? I would love to hear more thoughts re: the mysterious supposed third date in Singapore. Is this a thing? I guess we'll find out next Wednesday night if it's possible all three men go!

I'm totally agree with you. The only thing that bother me is the Final TWO photo leaking at Singapore and Jake was not in there.  Do you have any thought or source to share why you are quite sure Jake will make FINAL Two?

Perhaps something happens on their LSD that makes Georgia change her mind about him and that's why he's not In F2. Just a thought
