Yes you make sense to me. It's not all the time but I don't know who Robin is but it prob doesn't matter. 

I've never heard ANYONE say aboot in my entire life except when Americans are teasing Canadians on tv.

Daniel has a very thick accent that I usually associate with someone from the Canadian boons, like from the middle or nowhere or up north. I have one friend who sounds similar to him and he is from a tiny town in the middle of nowhere.

Eh will never go away . I use it so frequently especially when I make a statement but I am looking for a response of agreement. "Daniel is funny, eh?" And I will say eh a couple times after to say hubby you haven't responded to me

Daniel is a natural comedic talent, the scenes between Chad 
and Daniel in Jo's season were priceless, Hitler and Mussolini 
scene will be remembered for all time. I hope for him that
something comes of his appearance on the show.
As far as BIP he was the saving grace IMO.
