@jjdavid If he is an in studio only analyst, he'll need to be in Charlotte.  If he's going to be at games, he'll be traveling all over the south to different sites each week, most likely.

Games are generally on Saturday's, unless weather or something unusually wonky is going on with the schedule.  So again, it'll depend on just how big a role he has if he's just needed on game day only or throughout the week analyzing upcoming games for the station on air.  Of course, he'll have prep work during the week, it might just not all be on camera.  JMO

Does anyone know how his job with SECNow's gonna work with him living in Dallas, cos Isn't he gonna need to be in Charlotte for at least the majority of the football season. Not sure if his job is a fulltime 5 days a week gig though...I wonder how they've planned around this...

Corporate Headquarters is in Charlotte NC, however NC is not in the SEC.  He will be covering college games for colleges in SEC - see Link

Living in Dallas near DFW gives him access to get to the other schools in SEC.  So I think it works out well for both of them.

Well if he's a studio analyst like the article suggests, I wonder how many days a week he'd have to be there in Charlotte. It might be easier just covers a day a week type thing.
But I'm sure they've got it figured out if he's moving to Dallas still, cos I'm sure Jojo would have moved if absolutely necessary. We'll see when he starts his job I guess.

Looks like Jordon is a "studio analyst" per this announcement.  He is very impressive in this video, he is going to do great.  

Former Vanderbilt quarterback Jordan Rodgers is joining SEC Network, ESPN’s television channel devoted to the Southeastern Conference, this fall. He will provide college football commentary as a studio analyst. . . .

His first day on the job is scheduled for Aug. 23 on SEC Network’s sports news and information show, SEC Now.

“I’ve spent the summer studying in preparation for the football season,” Rodgers said. “Part of the job is based on personal experience, but knowing the rosters, stats and dynamics of 14 teams and their opponents every week is the work aspect.”

Rodgers joins a studio talent line-up that includes Heisman winner Tim Tebow, two-time Super Bowl champion Booger McFarland, national championship-winning quarterback Greg McElroy, national championship-winning lineman at LSU and Dallas Cowboys Marcus Spears, as well as hosts Dari Nowkhah, Peter Burns, Laura Rutledge and Paul Finebaum.

It's really adorable and pretty much desperately needed for her imo. He'll keep her safe & sane! And I think he loves that role and has no trouble being that man for her from everything I've seen so far.

Yes, it says studio analysis, but later says joining studio talent lineup.  Tebow and some of the others are not in studio all that much, they're normally on a field on game day.  

He may start in studio more and then transition out into the field more later on if he jells with the crew and would benefit them more there. Guess we'll have to wait and see.  He has a great voice and knows football so he'll fit right in, IMO.
