Nothing new here. Chase already stated such. Same with Luke. Same with countless others in past seasons. None of them were the lead no matter a "contract." It's meaningless unless they are announced as the lead and filming.

I would have love Chase to be the Bachelor but I think Nick was the right choice when it was all said and done JMO
