I don't think the edit was ever meant to focus on a Josh/Amanda romance. The first clue - we were never shown the lead in to their first kiss. It went from date card to suction not unlike Leah and her inflatable swan.

Heaven only knows what else awaits our screens with this pairing. Previews suggest more chit to come which should keep the SM ire burning after at least 1 more epi.

why don't they just focus on each other? Sad.

To me, if a person is truly happy, they would focus on what makes them happy. It doesn't mean that they don't care what others think (despite what they may say), but it's how they choose to respond, or not. The way J is responding on twitter is baffling to me. Then again, I guess not.
As far as the girls, they'll learn that when someone says something negative about them on SM even when they're adults, act like kiddies and start a twitter war smh.
