What does that fella mean by "stop the wedding"? Like, not pay/air their wedding on tv? Or take their show away? Or make it positive that Ben and Lauren don't get married in whatever way they can? Since Fleiss is producing their show, I'm sure he has the ability to pull the plug on it too AND ABC since it's on an ABC network..

^ I would think it means they will take away the bachelor cash and won't let them married on tv since abc will provide everything . It said on that tweet they threatened him. As simple as that .

They don't have to pay for it though. They can take away any televised offer that might be on the table. They could pull the plug on their tv show. They could stop Ben's Bachelor payments. They could take him off metaphorical Mount Rushmore. laugh out loud

. But it seems Ben cares so much being the latest successful bachelor couple . And I would think it is important to Lauren too . Hey they got paid of doing their upcoming spin off show and adding their upcoming Tv wedding too. Remember they both said even they are living a semi normal life now in Denver everyone wants to know their post bachelor life laugh out loud

. So it's a win-win to them .

So basically ABC threatened to take away/and not finishing paying Ben's Bachelor money (which is A LOT of money), threatened to pull the plug on their reality show (which again would give them A LOT of money), and threatened to not pay/air their wedding (which is probably part of the reality show deal..which again would give them A LOT of money.) Yeah, his position in office wouldn't even give him half the amount of money those other things up top would give him..

They could also start a very negative pr campaign against Ben. In the end it isn't worth it, running a campaign he couldn't win, for the experience. They pretty much made it a no choice for him, I think. Jmo.

The timing is weird though, there were pictures posted of Brn signing the contracts to run, and after that only ABC pulled the plug.

I get the spin off show being jeopardized, but what's Bachelor money? What does that mean? The Bachelor ended, what's there left to pay other than appearances and the like.

Maybe Disney already got negative feedback about it?

He's still on contract with ABC, isn't he? If he violates the contract they could sue him and he'd have to pay back the money already paid to him, I guess.

Common misperception that Mike Fleiss = ABC. He has separate production company.

Production, distribution, broadcast -- all separate organizations and agreements.

Ben would be expected to be contracted to all of those.

According to my twitter feed, It seems like Mike Fleiss's and Mill's political views don't align with Ben's. I wonder if that had anything to do with Ben pulling out of the race.

Doesn't The Bachelor and The Bachelorette money get payed over time? Since it's so much? If not that, then they can probably sue him...which is what that fella who posted the tweets made it sound like. I wonder if Ben is on ABC's bad side now...just for wanting/thinking/doing the process of running..
