IMO, everyone knows Ben is going to lose this race and its just fodder for the spinoff reality show. If he really wanted to get into politics, he either would have moved back to IN or a more conservative area of CO (or waited and ran in a non-Presidential year in CO not in one of the most liberal areas of the state).

So if it's just fodder for the show, does this mean Ben isn't really committed to securing our nation's future and is another fameho like the rest, willing to sell himself and his "beliefs" for a reality tv show?? Say it ain't so.

I think he is running against a well established party that is considered a shoo-in. So that is what I think could refer to the deck being stacked against him.
That's ok. If he is really interested in politics it will be a good point to get his feet wet and learn.

Everyone that appears on this show is looking for fame on some level. Ben is no exception.

Going into politics for fame IMO is a pretty big gamble. What fame does he need? IMO one doesn't get involved in politics of all things, if they do not have an interest or some knowledge of what they are getting into.

I think Ben either insinuated/said that he was asked or the idea was brought up to him about running, and the more he thought about it the more he wanted to do it. I remember reading this but I can't remember where.

I would assume that it is possible Ben is using this show to showcase himself in luring the locals in Denver .It is one of his plan. I don't think that is a question, aside from showcasing their post bachelor life that they are saying . I don't know how much impact this upcoming show to Ben running in politics . Jmo

I agree. If he wanted fame, just for the sake of being famous, he would go Hollywood, not politics. A lot of politicians end up infamous.
