I love Matty but I think he is F2.
Hear me out please
I honestly think Courtney and Lee were always going to be Georgia's final 2 but when it became clear that Courtney wouldnt fit the invested edit they had to play up Matty to catch up. We have had episode after episode with Matty in our faces while getting little shots here and there of a worried Lee just so we know he is still in the running. Matty being a great guy obviously surprised Georgia too and she found hersel really liking and responding to his charm.
So then we have had Georgia and Matty's relationship built up on full speed and then Lee gets his 2nd single date to remind us of their relationship which will appear on par with Matty's.
Stage set for the nail biting finale- 2 strong relationships and the watching world believe it can swing either way. Will it be instant connection and steady Lee or out of nowhere slow burn Matty?
We are shown Matty's kisses, and chemistry but Lee's has been hidden till now. Isnt it interesting how most are not shocked that Lee makes it to the final 2 or that Georgia is really into him even though his date was in episode 3. I still believe Lee will be the F1 and the edit will probably start showing us doubts about him while Matty will be shown and a progressing love story. All my opinions of course

I'm still floating in the breeze as to which one. I noted at the beginning the big push from everyone for Lee which gave me alarm bells again looking at Nikki so everyone watching was expecting it. Matty has come in as a natural surprise so there was no need for the dodgy edit aka Alex. Which was my theory for Matty being F1. But they are also showing a lot of chemistry between them in the promo much like Alex. But my question is does the F1 and F2 differ for the bachelorette as opposed to the bachelor. The bachelor F1 gets the chemistry edit, F2 gets connection of some sort. Does the bachelorette F1 get the connection edit and F2 chemistry because I'm confused right now.

Please note: when adding to the list, make sure to differentiate what is fact from opinion by adding IMO to anything that is an interpretation of fact or doesn't have a link/sc/etc.

- the Bach AU Twitter RT'd/tweeted the preview for Lee's SD and the only tweet they sent from the Bach AU account for any of the guys' dates. The Bach AU account tweeted about Sasha/F1 on Sam's season.
- had SD in Ep 3 (like Sasha/F1 and a few past F1s: Anna and Snez)
- only Lee got new music for his first kiss that was not heard before on any season (only one who has this for any season) so could be new F1 music? (It sounded like "A Thousand Years", the song used for Bella and Edward in Twilight Saga)
- stylist for the show posted pic of Lee and Georgia from their SD and tagged Lee in the pic as well as in the comments. Both Georgia and Lee liked the pic.
- articles with Lee talking about how his he is there for Georiga, thinks she could be his soulmate, etc
- OK mag article of the boys in swimwear and Lee in the middle with larger pic (Matty had small pic) so pattern like past F1s who all had larger pics in articles
- has doubt in his edit/struggling so could be part of a F1-arc
- has 2nd SD in the episode before HTD like Sasha/F1 did (although Sash only one)

(**IMO** because the narrative behind Matty's F1 story is that he did not make an immediate first impression but rather, came of of nowhere, to become the slow burn romance. For this story to be told, he had to come out of no-where for the viewer also).

- He has had the most time with Georgia SQT Episode 3, 1st single date Episode 5, 2nd single date Episode 8.
- He has the most amount of on air kisses TD but this will probably be equalled tonight by Lee.
- Love Boat date was kissing and cuddling (papped pics reveal this) although not shown on air much.
- He has made Georgia laugh the most and this is one of the qualities she is after.
- Georgia initiates many of the kisses and gets that soft whispery voice after she kisses him, don't think this has happened with other?
- Social media locked down
- Articles talking about his commitment to Georgia - she ticks all the boxes, their connection is the dream; he's all in.
- Slip up made by G when talking in the media about all the Matt, Matty, Matteo's and referring to calling the love of you life the wrong name.
- M&G reported to have purchased a bell in Singapore inscribed with a saying about 'Eternal Love'.

- 3 pics of Matty and Georgia posted by the stylist on IG, after show started. As of today, Georgia has liked 2 of them
- Matty's sister follows Georgia on IG
- Matty only one with s/caps of him in Singapore shown in the Season Preview
- VOs of Matty in Season Preview and most by him, including "I can't fault you, you're perfect". Matty's voice heard last before Georgia saying "I love you so much"

So reading the signs I`m realizing: IF we look at every things produced (what they are showing us before/during the show airing) its pointing torwards Lee but if we look at how she is behaving so far it would point at Matty…

I do think that A LOT still can change. Lets say until now she liked them both a lot but still wasnt in love. Another date, hometowns, Fantasy Date and LCD can change everything. Will be interesting to see what her date with Lee will be like

This is a very significant point, imo. It definitely has seemed, going by SM, that even though Lee hasn't got a ton of screentime since his SD in Ep 3 that it is not a surprise to viewers he would be in F2. Quite telling, imo.

If Lee is F1, then I think Aaron's prediction of Lee being F1 and that it was just a pecking order could very well be the case. TWT

I think her behavior is pointy towards Lee so I think it's just how the edit and Georgia with the contestants can be viewed subjectively.

For example: Georgia's reaction to Lee on their SD and their kiss was more than her just saying butterflies - she said fireworks (only one she has said that about). Imo, fireworks > butterflies (massive or otherwise).

Also, when I compare Matty's 1st SD to Lee's 1st SD I think there was much more of a connection and Georgia more into Lee on their 1st SD.

Since Matty already has had a 2nd SD and Lee is yet to have his 2nd SD I can't yet compare the two to see the progression so once Lee has his 2nd SD I think it could show more to compare 2nd SDs to each other.

I was Team Lee based on how good looking and mature and charming he was compared to the others. Then, once Matty started stealing the limelight, Lee started looking a bit dull. Sweet but dull and an oddly PeterPannish vibe for me. I mean he's 35 and (somewhere - can't remember where now - an article?) he supposedly said he was 10 years away from wanting kids or something? Yet, I can still see he's appealing for sure. And I'd probably still be all "go Lee!!" if, like I said, Matty hadn't raised the bar by being so damn smart-playful.

IMO - I keep thinking about those BTS pics for both Lee and Matty's 2nd SDs. I can't help but look at the Matty ones as see something a bit more natural and organic. Daily Mail even managed to make an article about them sharing a burger for lunch.

In contrast, the BTS of Lee's date seems a bit less casual and more for TV. Even the dates themselves lend themselves to that. Lee just screams next Bach material to me - I dunno why. Plus that casting age change - why would it suddenly changes age after 5 years unless requested by an older Bachelor. What's the point of casting 40 year old contestants for leads in their 20s(Matty/Cam)?

I would be super shocked if the lead wasn't recycled given rating disparity between Richie and Georgia's seasons.

OK, after looking at G and Mattys date again I noticed and interesting cut in the interview with Georgina.

She says that "some people believe you have to feel a spark with someone as soon as you lock eyes with them. But the thing with me and Matty is that /CUT/ every time I see him I`m feeling more and more for him" This is clearly cut, you guys have to listen to it. Why would they have changed it??? What did she actually say? Something that would have giving the ending away? What do U think?

IMO Matty's two SDs were tailored to his personality and his experiences from what Georgia has learned about him.

She also seems to have been able to pinpoint parts of Matty like how he likes surprises and how he is a bit of a perfectionist.

My feeling tells me that Matty is F2 and if he would be the bachelor I would be happy with that.
