The countdown to Australia's next big romance is on, with The Bachelorette Australia set to debut on TEN on Wednesday, 21 September at 7.30pm.

In the first episode, Bachelorette Georgia Love and 16 of Australia's most eligible Bachelors come together for a cocktail party that has it all: drama, a donkey and a near-disaster that leaves our new Bachelorette a little red in the face.

With such an impressive selection of single men for Georgia to choose from, some of the Bachelors will resort to physical feats of strength in order to stand out from the crowd.

Will one of these Bachelors be able to take a good first impression and turn it into a fairytale romance with Georgia?


The Bachelorette Australia premieres Wednesday, 21 September At 7.30pm.

The new season of The Bachelorette is set to air next week and it seems there won't be a dull moment on the show.

Leading lady Georgia Love, 28, told WHO Magazine this week that fans can expect 'a couple of drama queens' among her batch of potential love interests.

Host Osher Gunsberg meanwhile has hinted to OK! Magazine the men come to a outright brawl in the mansion.

The former TV news anchor spoke about the 'strong feelings' she had for a few of the guys competing to be her man.

'I hoped I'd meet that one person who made me feel all those things I wanted to feel, that made me happy to be going into a relationship,' Georgia, 27, told OK! magazine.

'I certainly had that with more than one person and I never expected that, and it made it incredibly emotional.'

The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love on her relationship deal breakers and past heartbreak

...even though her bevvie of hunks are indeed babin’, there are bound to be a few duds in the mix.

So which kind of guys will get the boot first?

The Nine Network newsreader told New Weekly that she finds immaturity to be the biggest turn off in a guy… specifically, that whole “bros before hoes” mantra.

“That is my biggest turn off ,” she told the glossy mag. “Guys who care more about what they are saying to impress the boys rather than making their partner happy.”

The 27-year-old Tassie-based journalist added that her most recent relationship strengthened her, even though she was “left heartbroken”.

“I thought he was The One,” she said. “I was madly head-over-heels in love with him and literally one morning he just said, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore.’

“I was completely blindsided. It took me quite a long time to get over it, but it made me a stronger person.”

Luckily for us, we can already suss out the talent vying for Georgia's heart. And we have to say, we're not seeing any warning signs yet...

In a recent promo for the upcoming second series, we're introduced to Lee and Cameron.

Lee is 35, a mechanical plumber and was once crowned as Victoria’s Hottest Tradie. What a title! He's also looking for "The One".



Next up is Cameron, who is also tall, dark and handsome, much like Lee.



He's 26 and a firefighter which made Georgia react like this, which we think is a good thing.



It looks as though our new Bachelorette is going to have a hard time deciding who to pick!

The Bachelorette begins on September 21.
