The Health Corner
Okay, sorry about the cheesy name for this thread but that's all I could think of But I feel that since we're all so close on here that this is a place to discuss minor health issues (colds, flu, etc) that we've all had and we can share our remedies or ways to feel better quicker.
I'm having a little issue too, where I have a canker sore on the inside of my lip, on the bottom, and it's been annoying me cause it's been hurting and burning no matter what I do.. since it's a silly thing yet common, I was wondering what are some remedies you guys use to get rid of them? I've heard some people use OTC pain relievers, applying salt directly to it (ouch!) but if it works I guess it's worth it right? This is my first time getting it so I don't really know how long it lasts, etc. Feel free to discuss here

Re: The Health Corner
Hi SweetPFan, I haven't tried this personally, but I have heard that cayenne pepper can help reduce the sensitivity of a canker sore.
