The press release for next week's show is Jared to a T calling him a "passive" bachelor!!! Does he care and if so who for? What fascinates me is after BIP and leaving early since Caila left how Jared could turn around and go on vacation with Ashley I, her sister, and Janner. Doesn't seem like he is trying to distance himself from Ashley at all. Wonder how he would react if Ashley got in a serious relationship with another guy? It's like he tries to keep her tied to him.

Jared being silent is exactly how I predicted he would react. Nothing new here

I'm not defending Jared but could the vacation have been planned before BIP? I thought I read where it was a sponsored vacation... could it have been possible that he could not back out?

The possibility exists that he might have had no choice but to go on that vacation even though all that cr*p happened on BIP. If it was a sponsored vacation and he had signed a contract, there just might not have been a choice for him... Price might have been too steep to break the contract.

If so, that might be why Caila seemed to have no problem being seen with him after the vacation.

That's what I thought at the time it was leaked @havadrpepper Someone, I'm sorry I forget who, posted SM pics, of them together. There were a few where Jared was posing no where near Ashley.

I still think that Ashley is crazy about Jared because that's how she gets on the show again. The rest of the time she's probably  somewhat normal which is why it doesn't seem a problem until BIP comes around again. Hopefully he sees that it's not going to work when he's in a relationship whether Caila or someone else. JMO

I think I'll be following Caila's lead on this one. There may

They were with her sister plus Jade & Tanner, Nonina. I don't think there's a cookie jar from Jared's point of view.

The previews make it seem like Jared & Caila won't be together which may be why they're being quiet on SM as far as each other.

It's funny and sad that it seems to now be more important to defend someone on SM than to contact them personally/privately and express your support/make sure they're okay. I guess I'm old, but the latter would be far more important to me. Jared strikes me as the type of guy who would follow the company line when it comes to not spoiling what was going to happen on the show by keeping mum, while conducting his affairs with Caila directly with her and not on SM. Based on Caila choosing to leave Paradise rather than have her budding relationship play out publicly, I suspect she might also be okay with Jared's behavior, assuming he is supporting her in private. I guess I'll also wait to hear from Caila before I pass judgment.

It brings to mind when Ashley Hebert was getting beat up in the press over the Bentley stuff and JP had to stay silent for weeks while it was going on in order to not spoil the ending, even though he admitted later it was killing him. I think it was more important to Ashley that he comforted her every day in long phone calls than if he would have just been sending out public tweets. JMO.

Whilst I have had conflicted feelings about some of his actions because of all the drama with AshleyI, I really do think Jared is a good person. I did feel disappointed at first when the last episode aired, but I will wait and see until after the show because as mentioned, he may then feel free to show that support publicly that I so want him to show. I hope that's the case. And I hope that lovely connection I've seen on-screen between him and Caila is allowed to flourish in the open finally.

I've never followed Jared or AshleyI. I know that she calls him her BFF. Has Jared ever stated that AshleyI is his BFF publicly?
