I don't mean it in a bad way but there are times when people who connect like that can't breath without the other person. It's not always healthy if it gets out of control. I trust that they will keep things balanced and that they will stay as cute as they are once she gets to NY.

I think they'll be like Ali and Roberto, who seem to have a cute, healthy, charming version of co-dependency going on versus 'something creepy, let's maybe get the po-po and counselors involved now.' giggling

I think one of the biggest clues to them having a healthy relationship is how they have said they are each other's biggest fan. This mutual admiration doesn't require them to be co-dependent, it just means that they will root for the other above all else, and probably even put the other's needs above their own. That's a perfectly symbiotic relationship if you can find it IMO.

Since their very disparate careers will take them into different realms every day, I'm sure they will each manage to develop and sustain separate normal work relationships, in addition to being a couple, and not become so co-dependent on each other that it becomes unhealthy. They are not teenagers who haven't found their own identities yet, after all.

Plus they seem to make communication a priority between them.

Hi, sjcaligurl - I think Ashley would do well to check out Vera Wang's gowns. That designer creates gorgeous things. And from a biography segment of her, she seems like a very down-to-earth, kind and real person - someone who would really listen to and guide Ashley into selecting the best design for her.
