I picked the 3rd one too, but I really don't know why, since I don't like it. Ha!

The third is the lesser of the 3 evils. It's still too much for her body type.

I didn't like the bottom part of any of them! The first one I don't think on something as petite as ash would work and it wouldn't showcase her great figure. The second one if it didn't have all that added fluff(for short people usually is not great) it would be really flattering. The third I like the bodice part not so much the rest. and yeah Ashley can do better than this! :Nod:

I know everyone will point out vo's & itm's, pi's and what was said on camera, but this is just my opinion, ignoring all else.

I have rewatched R & K and all the media day interviews over and over.

Both said Hong Kong was the "best date" right away, no hesitation on every interview. Ashley said on R & K, that's an easy one, JP agreed and they both wrote down Hong Kong. Why didn't they write LCD (& their fav. picture was on the LCD in the sand), or FD if that's when they said the ILY the first time .

My personal opinion, which I sure no one will agree with, and that's ok, is that they both said ILY in Hong Kong which is why that date is so very special to them. It's the only way that makes sense to me, as I expected that answer to be Fiji, for the best date. And that's why JP lost it in Taiwan and it hurt to see her with the other guys and kissing them, and may have made hin wonder if she meant it, til she reassured him alone, when she went and got the rose and gave it to him and kissed him passionately. Then all was good again for JP and Ashley.

I go back to that tweet of JP's post show. "I'm doing what I'm told to do, oh wait, the show is over now..oops".

Not sure if ILY was expressed in Hong Kong but I do believe that Ashley made it quite clear to JP in HK that she had the deepest relationship with him and she could see herself with him at the end (now that the ghost of Bentley was out of the picture).
I still think that the first ILY was expressed by Ashley in Taiwan but this is all guessing on my part. Wish they would share with us, lol!

Maybe she said she was falling in love with him in Hong Kong, so technically, she didn't say "I love you".

Yeah, it's hard to tell. A WHOLE lot went down in HK that we weren't privy to and he said that he really fell in love with her there. I would agree with Hong Kong because things seemed to get very intense and they both exposed a lot of their feelings/emotions at that time. I'm not sure if it even needed to be spoken then. I could also see Taiwan because he was freaking out, told her about it and she felt bad for him (Still makes me laugh that Lucas and Ames thought they were making progress). We missed a whole lot in between what we were shown in Hong Kong and Taiwan because they were waaay ahead of what we thought we knew. It's good that they were able to hash out so many things in the limited time they got to spend together. I'm not sure I've ever seen that in the history of the show. Maybe the were able to sneak in some time together.

I kinda wonder about these two, though. I can see them being very, very good together or very, very bad. LOL! I think they make a great power couple but I could also see them almost being Bonnie and Clyde if crossed. I do agree with her that maybe she was most compatible with Ben in a railroad track kinda way (running parallel and in the same direction). The problem with that is that IRL, human beings veer off in different directions at some point and once that happens, what happens to them. With JP, they seem more like puzzle pieces who fit together - perfect fit and all. It's just that when people are joined like that, they can become co-dependent. Hope they keep things balanced and I think they will.

JP stated the date went for 8 hours or something like that, so we got to see what, less than 5% of the date? LOL

One thing I noticed that was in a preview that we didn’t see during the show was during their FD, the scene on the beach where Ash asked him if he’d be “ready to propose at the end of this” and he was ambivalent about it (can’t remember his exact words). But I’ve wondered if he knew he loved her, but wasn’t really ready to propose and may have been coaxed into doing so. I don’t’ mean to imply that he wouldn’t have eventually, but that MF wanted that proposal on that day.

I don't put a lot of stock in that one clip from the previews, since the previews are always misleading (remember the one that tried to make us think Ashley and JP's FD ended with the two of them parting ways?) Even taking the clip at face value, Ashely asks JP if he could see himself proposing and he essentially says "Not right this minute." I think that goes with the narrative of that episode (and the end of their HTD) that he was hesitant about going all in and telling her he was in love with her until he knew he was final two. And at that point in the date, she hadn't yet told him about Constantine and Ryan, so he didn't know he was final two.

In any event, considering his comment to Ashley in Hong Kong that in a month, he expected them to be doing something having to do with getting on a knee, and his comment on the FD that he was "ready for the end," I don't think he had to be coaxed to propose to her. I think it was always his plan, no producer interference needed.

I always thought the "not this minute" was a splice, and maybe he was talking about children and they made it seem he was talking about proposal. Both Ashley and JP talked about the other beieng good parents in the future.

Oh, it was spliced all right. That is exactly why they didn't show it either. Without splicing it together it would have be a very different conversation IMO. I too think the "not this minute" is about starting a family.

Well, they covered a lot of ground. Guess they could do that w/o the distraction of street fairs and site seeing. Ryan really got that his date wasn't conducive to getting to know someone. Those kinds of dates would have been wasted on JP anyway because he was only interested in being hugged up with Ashley.

JP said post show, they spent alot of time together and we didn't get to see much of it. I assume he also means, not only the Hong Kong date.

ETA. regarding the "co-dependent" comment, not sure how that is meant. A Team supports, protects and defends each other, I don't call that co-dependent at all and all positive, not negative in any way. jmo
