Maybe he does think she picked the right one but legally he has to play the role of jilted F2. I'm sorry, but I still don't see that he was all that in love with Ashley and think he played a role. That's of course IMHO.

This is what I was thinking as well. I mean, at this point he's been without Ashely longer than he was with her. I just find it hard to believe he would still be bitter. I think he might be still playing the upset and jilted F2 in order to set him up for The Bachelor. It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me, but it makes more sense than him still not being over it. JMHO...

Well, there's a bit of a contradiction with Ben. I find it hard to believe a man in love with a woman would be relatively unbothered by her dating his buddies. Yet why not just admit she chose the right guy if he wasn't really that in love with her himself? Makes no sense.

If he's going to be the next Bachelor, I can't imagine that bitterness is a more attractive quality to exhibit than graciousness.

Chris L. wished Ali and Roberto well and even took pictures with them at the Boston Red Sox game in July, when everyone thought he was the next bachelor and way before he met Peyton. He said he always knew it was Roberto, they had a special connection. It has nothing to do with the fact that Ben could be the next bachelor, he could have just said, I wish JP and Ashley well.

I don't think he is talking about Micki with the "we", just he and Ben. Micki has talked to JP on the phone and tweeted congrats, and many other times. In fact he is heading to NYC very soon.

I can see both sides to everyone's argument about the way people handle certain situations. I might not handle things in the same manner, but to each his own.

Ashley and JP seem happy and that is all that matters. JMO

I don't think he is talking about Micki with the "we", just he and Ben. Micki has talked to JP on the phone and tweeted congrats, and many other times. In fact he is heading to NYC very soon.
