The restaurant’s owner Jon tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that J.P. and Ashley ‘were definitely happy about their circumstances, holding hands and sitting next each other!’

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her fiance J.P. Rosenbaum are madly in love and they’re not afraid to show it! This past weekend J.P. and Ashley flew down to Boca Raton, Fla. to visit J.P.’s extended family — and on Saturday, Aug. 13. they celebrated J.P.’s grandfather’s 90th birthday at Six Tables restaurant. While at the dinner, J.P. and Ashley were the cutest couple sitting next to each other, kissing and holding hands, the restaurant’s owner and chef Jon Fyhrie tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

“They embraced and smooched several times [in front of J.P.'s whole family],” Jon says. “They were definitely happy about their circumstances, holding hands and sitting next to each other.”

Jon was super impressed by J.P. and Ashley. “They were a very cool couple, very composed and polite,” he shares. “I was surprised at how young they are, but they are very mature and very together as a couple — totally into each other.”

J.P.’s uncle Dr. Rich Kornblath, a regular customer at the restaurant, organized the shindig, reveals Jon. They rented out the whole restaurant for a private, 5-course dinner. 15 people including J.P., Ashley, and J.P.’s mom and dad, attended.

“The dinner consisted of five courses,” notes Jon. “They had a choice of sea bass, rack of lamb, half of a roasted duck, [or one other selection]. J.P. had the duck and Ashley had the sea bass.”

As part of the celebration, J.P. and Ashley joined his family members to sing “Happy Birthday” to his grandpa, says Jon. “There was a birthday cake, but the cake was for the moment and not to be consumed. We didn’t cut into the cake. They took it home. [Instead, the group] ate my sugarless and flowerless chocolate cake and blackberry, buttermilk panna cotta.”

The party started out with a champagne toast, adds Jon. The meal cost $65.00 per person (a total of $975) not including wine and gratuity.

“They were a very easy group,” confirms Jon. “They wanted to have privacy at a nice place.”

Jon opened Six Tables in 2004, and refers to his restaurant as “a secret known to a few.”

Great article Chaslom. I can see them kissing now in front of everyone, they just cannot hide it. Too cute for words. I can picture Mrs. Rosenbaum with that adorable smile on her face that she gave Ashley after Ashley said on the HTD, "I'm smitten with your son, what we have is very special".

This is all such happy news. No doubt these two will make it. Just would love a recent picture of them, as I miss seeing their look of love at each other. thankfully, I have youtube to watch.

Even HL is saying good things about JP and Ashley. Shocker, guess they can't find anything negative, and for them, that's saying something.

I agree Gina! As much as I would also like to see some recent pics of them, I have to say I am pretty impressed with how they are handling things. They are letting just enough out there to let fans know they are still going strong, yet still are able to maintain their privacy while starting their life together. They are totally committed to each other and making this relationship last. I don't have any doubt they will prove the naysayers wrong.

Agree, and it was the chef/owner who gave out the info and in the Examiner articles, an "insider", prob. close friend or even a family member. JP and Ashley have not said much of anything or flaunted their love or had papp pictures, after Media day was over.

They are truly a class act and very much for real and in love. I wish the best for them always. They have the hearts of America and other countries (judging by twitter)

Aww, what a sweet article! They are so in love and they're not afraid to show it.

I went to the mall today and saw an old couple (in their 70s or 80s) holding hands and they said 'I love you' to each other and it made me tear up a little. Just made me think of JP & Ash about 30 years later still in love and happy. True love does exist, you just gotta find it. Once you do, it'll last forever.
