Ever since the finale of ABC's The Bachelorette 2011 aired and Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum could publicly share their engagement, fans have been dying to see what they are doing together. Last weekend Scottsdale fans learned that the lovebirds had a fun party with friends and family in New York City, and everyone was said to have a blast. Ashley and JP are active on their Twitter pages, and over the past few days fans have seen that they are busy making plenty of travel plans for upcoming weekends.

During the week Ashley is back in Philadelphia finishing school while JP is in New York. When it comes to the weekends, however, they reconnect in person and head out and about. Ashley shared that she is looking forward to a weekend with JP up in Maine where she grew up, and she will be in NYC for an entire week soon as well. One of her besties from The Bachelor , Ashley Spivey, is also living in New York, and the gals are already making plans together. While they haven't mentioned it on their Twitter, an insider shares that they also have are heading south for the weekend for a family gathering.

An insider says that Ashley has a big weekend ahead of her: meeting JP's extended family. Apparently it is Ilene's father's 90th birthday, and JP and Ashley are making the trip south to help him celebrate with the extended family. JP's immediate family is said to adore Ashley, so there is little doubt the extended family will embrace her as well. So far it doesn't sound like they've been spotted in any airports and they've been quiet on Twitter about the gathering, so perhaps they will get a bit of privacy for this family gathering.

JP and Ashley's approach of being relatively open with their fans about their relationship is a breath of fresh air for dedicated fans. Hopefully they will be able to maintain the sense of balance and openness that gives fans a chance to continue to follow their love story while allowing them the space to move forward with their plans for a life together. Fans hope they have a great weekend together and that all goes well, and can't wait for what comes next for this Bachelorette pair.

While The Bachelorette with Ashley and JP has wrapped up, ABC's Bachelor Pad 2 is just getting started. Tune in Monday nights to ABC, Channel 15 in the Scottsdale area, to see the cast and their shenanigans. Last week viewers watched as Vienna and Jake had to deal with one another, while Vienna Girardi, Michelle Money and the guys took control of the game with their alliance. This is all such great news and how a real relationship is. They have spent their weekends with friends and family and enjoying each other, having fun, staying busy and avoiding the papps somehow. A very healthy relationship and a happy engaged couple.

I really respect JP and Ashley for not having alot of pictures taken, but come on, give us a few of them, please? Maybe one from each get together with families, pretty please. I'm missing seeing them together really bad.

They will be talked about if they post pictures and called famehos and those of us who love them, will suffer the price of the haters, it's really sad. But maybe some paps will run into them somewhere. (sigh) ~ or they will pop on here and see how much we miss seeing them together and tweet some pics. We can only hope and pray.

I know, I don't go to any of those sites. It seems it boils down to either ignorant people or elderly people who are out of touch with reality and social networking in 2011. ridiculous. I'm surprised a few who post there know how to operate a computer. :giggle:
