Exactly. I like Amanda, but she's a dumbazz. Someone in her family should love her and protect her. Sheesh. She just needs to act and be a beautiful little doll for this to work out with Josh. She's already got a headstart with her sweet little baby voice. Unlike the other fiancé, with her raspy dominant voice. See, it's already working !
IMO.

ITA. But maybe it'll all workout for them for these exact reasons. She's a doll and he can do as he sees fit steering their family and she can be beautiful and subservient and give him a son or whatever he wants.

Of course if I was in Amanda's family, I'd be having a melt down of my own and needing all the Xanax in the world to get through this "relationship."

But she also said ex Nick wasn't "very nice" to her.. And she allowed that behavior to happen for whatever amount of time..and then finally dumped his azz. She should hopefully know the drill, if it happens again.

I don't think Josh's problem is that he's not nice like Nick2, he just gets enraged if you talk back to him. If she doesn't do that, then nice all day long and twice on Sunday's. Maybe it's fine for her, idk!

Not knowing either party, I would not know how to access their level of tolerance, level of frustration etc.
I don't know how anyone could access what would set someone off. That takes a certain amount of common sense and a large amount of "getting to know you". JMO
Also, a relationship where you can not "talk back": what does that mean? Does that mean not offering your opinion on things? Does it mean allowing someone else to make all decisions? There is a great variant in passivity and just being easy going.

I'm sure that was part of their plan all along in getting both him and Nick on the show together. CH pretty much hates Josh because of his "close" friendship with Andi. Josh went onto this show already with a target on his back IMO.

I just hope that drama is just the one episode and the rest of the time they actually show the love story. If these two were truly the "power" couple a la Janner like RS said, I would have expected less drama and more romance.

I agree. I'm not sure I wouldn't be hopping mad too if people were talking behind my back, about things they have heard or "read" that I didn't think were true. Josh has been dealing with this for awhile now and it seems to follow him wherever he goes. I need to wait to see the episode before I condemn him. With Ch and Nick both an enemy had several strikes against him from the start.

I didn't really pay too much attention to Amanda during Ben's season. So I'm curious as to what she did that makes some of you guys believe she's docile, weak and submissive. She seemed sweet to me but sweet doesn't necessarily mean pushover or someone who won't speak up for herself.

I was wondering if TPTB didn't bring up Andi's book among the cast on BIP which of course would be kindling to the fire...maybe the twins brought it up or the horrendous allegations Andi made, which were so unfair and Josh didn't say anything publicly. Maybe the pressure just built up in Josh. We don't know what was said or the context. I want to see it before judging. I feel that the public just took the allegations from Andi and ran with them. **edited** Knowing that "TPTB are not your friends" as is often said on this board, I bet some fuel was added to the cast to get just the response that they wanted.

Josh is a hot head. Josh doesn't take kindly to people questioning his motives. Josh can't stand Nick. The book or concerns from the book probably arose. With producer prodding, it was a perfect mixture for an explosion. Let's not forget who RS says he mainly took it out on... Nick. Shocker. He'll never get over that.

This doesn't mean Josh is a bad guy. There's a lot of people w a short fuse. Learning how to deal with it comes with maturity. He needs to get there.

I'm most interested to see how Amanda reacts after it happens. I think she could be good for him and help him with his ways. I think we have to give Amanda a little more credit. She was young when she was dealing with the ex. She called Ben out for not sending her home right away after hometowns. I don't think she'll just lay down and let josh walk all over her. Mostly, I just don't see him losing it on Amanda's girls. IMO, he's a good dude deep down, just has some issues to work on.

I'm still on team Jam, for now.
