Jordan Rodgers - Bachelorette 12 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* #4

I think Jordan is probably a very nice guy. He has a very out going personality and seem to get along with everyone that he interacts with. I also think that he is immature and has impulse control issues but hopefully that will go away when he grows up. I certainly don't think he's a bad guy but a guy that has made some bad choices.

Yes, I agree. I don't see him as a bad boy. 
I see him as the above plus add in some entitlement and narcissism.
Bad nah. I have trouble seeing guy with that much hair maintenance being bad. Foofoo maybe.

^ I still remember while filming was going on for Ben's season, when RS first released JoJo's name in October, the first thing he said was "Watch out for JoJo as The Bachelorette." Then a few weeks later, when it was found out that JoJo was the runner up and not 3rd place, the prime bachelorette spot, people were like "Steve, I thought you heard she was the strong candidate for bachelorette." He replied, "I never heard that she was or that she wasn't. It was just based off her being bachelorette material plain and simple." (In different words of course, but pretty much spot on.) Then when people would ask him who he thought was most attractive on the cast and who he would pick if he were The Bachelor, he would always say JoJo

In the simplest terms: he just wasn't that good.

Jordan played part of a season in the CFL (Canadian Football League) & got injured. I'm not sure he played anywhere after that. He would've only considered the CFL if he had absolutely nothing to go to in the NFL. I'm a big CFL fan, but the pay difference is huge!

He was asked what his memorable moment was football wise.

"Getting to that point, I'm proud of"
"A lot of people like to use it as a slight to me, because I didn't have success in the NFL, but I'm OK with that"
"I didn't get a single Div 1 scholarship offer out of high-school and I think for a kid to get from there, to even have the chance to pull on an NFL uniform, I'm proud of that."

He sounds genuinely humble IMO. He talks also about his time in Tampa, where he was QB 3, I think?  Said he enjoyed the season and was good friends with the other QBs. Happy to be involved whether playing or not.

I have NO idea whatsoever if he said any of that in a genuine manner and really thinks that at all but the fact that he says it and carries himself as if he believes all that gives him so much power imo. It's seriously impressive. It's what made him the lead this season essentially, with everyone fighting for his attention, including Jo. So good for him. You cannot bring this guy down.

I thought he had a good perspective there too and hope he really feels that way. It wasn't a failure to make it that far. That interview explained a lot. JoJo should watch it, because that's her new everyday life now. He was just chatting, being his normal (charming) self, I don't think he was trying to be flirty at all, yet that girl interviewing him wanted to jump through her screen at him. He literally could be innocently talking about whatever to a store clerk, waitress, girl at the gym, etc and she'll be making plans in her head to find him later. Worrisome for Jo, but now I see how this happened to her.

I agree. He is humble about the opportunity just to be a small part of NFL/CFL, no matter how long, or short, of time it was.

I can put blame on him for being a player of women but not his non football career. I would really like to see his player of women career go as his football career. Hopefully he will have the same attitude as he does about football............it was fun while it lasted.

So true grace. He wasn't even doing anything out of the ordinary and she mentioned a date not once but twice. Lordy. It's his humor, confidence and the fact that he doesn't take himself and situations too seriously.
i really like the interview overall, a lot. Hope we' see and hear more as the season Progresses.

Yes the girl interviewing him is exactly how every woman reacts and I completely understand why. Putting aside whether or not he's ready to be a fully reformed BBJ himself, Jo will need to either breakup with him or find an inner pillar of serenity and security and confidence in herself if she wants to stay with him. Such a rough and tough road ahead.

I noticed the flirting and wondered if she was trying to bait him. That girl would be famous over night if she could have caught him on camera.
