@mprssdbyu I keep meaning to try to grow roses, but I want to make sure they are the ones that actually have a nice scent. Some of them don't and it's just not the same.

You could be the juiciest, most ripe peach, but there is still going to be someone who doesn't like peaches.

If you like gardening, roses bloom the entire season. I'm all about the wave of colors! They are a pain as you have to spray them every week here in Eastern NC with the humidity to prevent fungal diseases but I love them. I have a garden of minis....orange yellow and purple. I have some David Austin larger roses that have really nice fragrance. Some people love the knock out roses but I'm not a fan. They are less finicky to grow but their blooms don't wow me.  If you decide to grow them, Jackson Perkins has a very good reputation as do David Austin roses. Roses and Clematis vines are my favorites. Oh and my water lotuses! I can't wait to show them off! They are a site to behold in full bloom.

People were commenting, look how cute. Cute??? they can destroy your yard, roof, siding, garbage cans, and make a mess of things. My friends go south in the winter. One year they had baby racoons in the joists of their home. Mamma was taking care of them. They made a mess.

Not to mention in my area, NNJ, they tend to carry rabies if noted to be out and about during the day. They are normally nocturnal animals. I wonder if they were worried about their luggage arriving?

@GuardianAngel LOL, they will bite the snot out of you, too. Found a baby and rescued him when I was little. His name was Gucchi.

Baby blue birds have fledged. 2 days before they left the nest. They will not turn bright blue until the fall. It helps protect them from predators while they are still learning to survive.

My Niobe clematis growing up mailbox. It's second year in bloom. It gets bigger every year. My mailman is patient with me!
