This is Melanie. She is 4 months old and my newest foster. I picked her up on Sunday and she is the sweetest little kitten and already very comfortable in her new home. She was the runt of a litter of 7. She is a purring machine and already has my lazy 13 year old cat hissing, running all over the house after her and playing with her toys. This could get interesting.

You could be the juiciest, most ripe peach, but there is still going to be someone who doesn't like peaches.

Aww, she's a beauty, Sprite. I hope she finds her forever home and is loved by her new family. Thank you for helping these helpless babies.

She is absolutely gorgeous. I have never had a cat. My kids and DH would not want that. Maybe someday. Anyway, she is a sweetheart.

@Sprite you have a good heart. She is so sweet. I hope someone opens their heart and takes her into her new forever home real soon.

I meant to post this the other day and forgot. I was turning of the main street onto my residential street. As I was turning, I could see a family that I thought was walking their dogs. I had to do a double take. They were walking their goats!

Go to the link for a short vid of Romeo.
Nine days after a deadly 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck Italy, a golden retriever named Romeo has emerged from the rubble.
Firemen located the dog Friday evening, after accompanying Romeo’s owners to the rubble of their former home to collect belongings. He began barking as they neared the debris.
In true dog fashion, Romeo — who sports a patch of white fur on his forehead — seemed completely unfazed by the traumatic event, happily wagging his tail and he climbed down the pile of rubble to reunite with his owners, who had given up home of finding their precious pooch alive

Oh my gosh, poor kitties. My two freak out when they hear me getting the vacuum cleaner. They take off like a bolt of lightening and hide in my bedroom.
