I will check into Pet Insurance to see what options are out there. I did check into it a few years ago but didn't do anything about it.

I did some research last night. 
The reputable companies charge about $50 a month. This would cover accidents, illnesses, and even a portion of well visit/innoculations/diagnostics and labs. There are small to large deductibles. 
However, I think my bill will be thousands. 
So being that Lester is 4 yrs old: $55/month over 44 months equals 2420. I may have come out close to even at this point. I am not sure what exact bill is yet.

They are thriving, GA. I think I am going to keep all four. My son said he may take one, but I hate to break them up. I made an appt to get them fixed and vaccinated.

Lester is home and sleeping right next to me.

I'm glad he is home and doing better, Kasha. Nothing better than the love of a of a pet and to see them snuggled asleep beside you. ; ) Wow that's quite a bit of $.

Ouch on the vet bill! I won't complain about the $400 or so I spent so far this year on my baby girl.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for Lester Kasha.

Ouch! Guess I won't complain about the $571 I spent this week after my dog was bit by something (vet thinks spider or snake), got an infection and a very high fever, and had a seizure.

Wow--that's a bite! I hope he is better. 
Seriously, I am a huge pet lover. If I had been mature enough at 18 I would have thought about vet school vs nursing school. 
I am a bit afraid of some animals, but overall I am highly inquisitive and would have loved that field.

I hope all the woes of your pets gets better. They are our babies and we would do anything for them!
