Awwww so sorry to hear about Maddie. Geesh pets are killing my heart this week.

She will now be going over the Rainbow Bridge happy healthy and play with all the other puppies.

Oh how sad. He loves Maddie so much. I feel for him. RIP Maddie.

RS may be a prick, but there is one thing I think everyone can agree on. He loved his Maddie and his niece and nephew. He is a great uncle and a great dog owner. I wish he could be more like able in what he does. I feel bad for what he is going through.

My heart actually aches for him.

And I love pets. I am sorry for Maddie.

Mine too. I was in tears by the time I finished reading his tribute, because I just can't imagine life without my dog. I don't even know how someone deals with that. The only time he took a break from his curmudgeonly persona was when he talked about Maddie or his niece and nephew, so I know how much he cares for his loved ones. I'm just glad that Maddie was adopted by someone like him, who loved and adored her as much as he did. I know that people don't like him here, but he was always very kind and respectful to me whenever I e-mailed him.

I'm so not a dog person, but that was hard to read.. So sad. I cried too.

He's always been nice to me in emails, too. I feel bad for the guy.

I don't know too much about RS so I have very little opinion of him except in his capacity as a dog daddy having read his farewell to Maddy. He certainly succeeded in this role and it left me in tears.
I've had to put to Kitty members of my family down. Algie at 21 and Andy at 19 IT HURTS
I'm holding on to my sweet kitten Sadie as I type knowing she will most likely outlive me because of her age and mine.
I've arranged for my daughter to take her if I'm gone. I know she can't write but I hope she loves me as much as Maddy loved Steve and will remember that love all her kitty life.

Awwwe smartcat, your Sadie adores you. Our pets love us unconditionally as we do them. It's mutual, and they just know it. I'm so sure of that.

I visited my friend today who has such a comical mix breed dog. Her name is Hapa. She posed for a pic with my friend's daughter. Hapa thinks she's a forty pound lap dog
