Okay. So she never worked and her "dead beat" Nick2 supported her, even post divorce?  Where do you go to find a dead beat? I want one.

Ugh. As someone who is going to be a new mom and have no choice but to leave my baby at six weeks to go back to work so my daughter can be provided for, Amanda's comments are just awful. She has no clue what real working mothers do for their children.

Comparing that to her weeks and weeks free paid vacation where she can drink and get "engaged" to a known hot head is laughable. Someone give this girl some sense.

I don't know that her ex husband supported her post divorce, but definitely while they were married. Her ex makes good azz money. While they were still married, he was promoted to manager or something and got a nice raise. Amanda was driving around in a beat down Honda while he was driving a BMW..

Try going back to work after mat leave and within the first week needing to work OT because a project was blowing up. I was so embarassed when I started leaking and aching.
Not fun.

There was an article that said what was in her divorce papers.  Deadbeat did support her after divorce.   He had to pay alimony for 1 year (which just ended in June while she was in paradise), and continues to pay child support.  Deadbeat also put on Facebook that he makes her car payment.

So, no, besides her time as a hooters waitress, she doesn't know what it's like to work. And that was pre-kids.

Sorry, just being sarcastic since Amanda made him seem like a deadbeat dad on the bachelor. I do not think he is a deadbeat at all.

It bugs me to no end when these people start complaining about SM comments. You put yourself in the privileged position to be viewed and admired by millions of people. There are going to be some negative remarks - some are completely justified, some are moderate, some are evil and vicious - welcome to the internet! It makes you look like such a self-centered, egoistical diva if you complain about the fact that not everyone is praising you for your life choices. If you're happy with them - why do you care?

And I'm also personally affected by her justifications. I know I'm extremely privileged to have almost 2 years of paid leave to take care of baby, but if I wasn't I would absolutely have to go to my 9-5 job, because - math, two salaries are more than one. So Amanda is free to take advantage of all opportunities she has, BIP paid vacation, shilling from home, etc., that's all great, but the more she  justifies it, the worse she looks. All my opinion.

I still find it hard to believe she worked at Hooters. Only because, doesn't the company require their employees to have major cleavage? Did Amanda get some cutlets or stuff her bra or something..?
